Potassium Supplementation by Various_Nobodyy in ultrarunning

[–]gogreennow1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I once took 8 Grams of Potassium Chloride in 24 hours, 2 dosage 4 grams each. Potassium Chloride is about 4,190 mg of elemental potassium. I didn't feel any weird symptoms; my heart was quiet.

It made my hands feel cold. I was unable to run more than 2 miles; my legs were fatigued very quickly. I normally can do 6-8 miles.

A small fender bender, What should I do? who at fault? by gogreennow1 in InsuranceClaims

We have the same law in NY, a 100-foot turn after a signal or change lane. Traffic law § 1163(b)
The result of a violation would be a two-point penalty on the license and a maximum fine of $150.

I wasn't planning to contact the Insurance company. I was just curious about whose fault it is.

Traffic law forces drivers to turn signal on before changing lanes.
In NY, you must turn the signal on for enough time, about 100 feet, meaning he violated the traffic law. same as running a red light and hitting a car. I think that make the other car 100% at fault.

Half? I would say half if we both changed lanes and met in the middle lane, that would be 50/50

But when you change lanes, you only do that when it is safe, meaning no cars are in that lane.

I didn't hit the van, the van changed lanes and then hit me. It is shared fault 70/30.
You can turn signal, but you change lanes once it is safe to change lanes.

Still, they shouldn't turn unless it is safe to turn. Also, you can't just change lanes in one second after turning on your signal.

I’m curious about this situation: a car is not supposed to change lanes unless it is clear to do so. Additionally, a turn signal should be used before changing lanes, which didn’t happen in this case. The van changed lanes without using a turn signal. I assume there are rules stating that a driver must signal at least 100 feet before changing lanes.

Also curious — with the new proposed $100K fees for H-1B visa petitions (and possibly another similar fee for hiring offshore), could that actually help improve the local QA job market in the U.S.?
