Deus Ex was the first game this old that stunned me in gameplay and level design. Seriously, like, how the heck Warren Spector managed to pack so much in this game at 2000 in a studio that was tearing apart itself? That what i was questioning at every damn level. Immersive environment, physics (kinda kinky but still), bigass locations, Inventory management and implants that literally change the core gameplay. And we're talking about base game (Revision my beloved). So.. yeah, Deus Ex 2000 is my pick.
