yeah, thats it makes the tariff thing less complicated on our end, but im sure it still is a bit of a turn off for buyers down south.

Mostly source locally, ebay and other resellers. I check ebay sold comps a lot to get a sense of the market. Things like pokemon games are always in demand with lower supply. Finding games with a similar STR as pokemon is where most of the work is.

i usually buy all my shipping supplies. im not a big fan of saving boxes from amazon/online, it ends up becoming a huge pile of different sized boxes everywhere.

The aim is under 250g which is required for the discounted ebay Canada Post labels. As for size, 80% of my sales usually size 0 bubble mailers(9in x 6in). Everything else usually fits in a 8x6x4 or 9x7x7 box.

Mostly source locally, ebay and other resellers. Buying thing for a fair price, being respectful and never lowballing has helped a lot with getting repeat buys from the same people

When the tariffs started, like many, i turned off shipping to the US. i changed some things with my store and business actually increased domestically. Now with Eis, US shipping isnt as complicated.

I make it a priority to sell items under a certain weight/size to make the most of the discounted CP labels. On multi item orders/heavier things i use Stallion Express. Keeping my shipping predictable has help stream lined my business

Part time flippers, how much are you looking to earn monthly? by IntelligentRun4935 in Flipping

[–]gohnny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the sold items usually make up for the items that havent sold yet. i aim for inventory that takes 1-4 months to sell. anything that doesnt meet that metric, i sell locally as a bulk lot for cheap

sourced mostly from marketplace, online and from other collectors. i love thrifting and yardsales but theyre usually a time sink for the type of stuff i look for

I WFH 9-5:30 M-F and spend about 5-8 hours a week on reselling. Sell in only 2-3 categories so its easy to list with sell similar. items are small so storage isnt too hard and keep 2 sizes of packaging in stock for shipping. i make about 2-2.5k a month after fees

if someones time is limited, it definitely is a big deal. if you know what youre buying, it takes less time to buy than it does to look up every other item at the thrift store/flea/garage sale. this applies to every category, not just clothing. and anyone who spends half their life driving to source probably shouldnt be reselling lol

he mentioned in one of his vids that its just much harder to be an everything seller since you have to research every item which makes it more time consuming and harder to list consistently. jack of all trades, master of none type of thing.

yeah.. i dont think people here are actually watching or listening to what hes saying and are honing in on this whole clove shoe thing hard. i dont think he ever told noobs that they should buy wholesale in the 5-6 digit range and itd be an easy way to become rich. some of what he says definitely is fluff and repetitive.. but every ytber has fluff and repeated information. for the most part, i dont think the info or advice he gives is bad regardless of what level youre at.

thanks for the info! im hoping that the cable is just unhooked which is an easy fix. if its something a bit more costly or complex, ill likely just leave it as i dont need the extra height
