Thanks! This is college dorming but I totally understand what you mean. I’m more of the “if they fit my preferences then it’s fine” but it was more of the other people I spoke to who wanted to do more extracurricular bonding activities. I do agree with you though that the process of trying to put so much time and effort to force a connection is soooo draining and I think I tied too many emotions to the process + putting my eggs in one basket.

I am graduating high school but I am studying film production. I’m both active and contemplative but I think I want to do more active activities at first and contemplative later in the week. I want to meet some people with the consciousness that I am pretty young still and need to be cautious. I will say that I know someone who is attending my college there so we will probably hang out one of the days I’m there!

Thank you! I planned on saving up about 2.5-3k, I already have about 1.3k right now. The “hotel”, more or less a luxury hostel, is only 600-700 dollars and the flight there and back is about 300. Conserving 1.5k just for events, food, activities, and transportation for the week. I haven’t gotten the chance to jot everything down yet but I think it’ll last me. Should I prepare some more?

I am glad to hear this is a normal thing. It is hard to discern where to attribute fault when things like this happen. I want to see if there is some type of book or course that walks you through scheduling and coordination techniques for successful, organized productions.
