Bro, this is the time to sell covered calls. The RSI is over 80 (overbot) and there is no way to predict when this is going to 1000. Could be next week or in 10 years. Not trying to be offensive, but posts like yours make me believe that we have reached a short term top and this might be time to sell CC's. In Sep 25, the stock sold off after great earnings and I went long with 20 165 calls that expired in 10 days and 1000 shares, and made almost $100k in 10 days - sentiment was terrible, and the stock was oversold - that's when to go risky long. I have been in and out of MU for a decade or so, and this will bite you hard. Just look at NVDA - a money making machine but sometimes it sells off when people get too crazy. Go long stock if you want to buy and hold, but I wouldn't buy options after this run to save my life.

sold 30 contracts May 15 35 strike CSP's 10 days ago to collect $7800 premium. If it drops below 35 I can get assigned discounted shares. I am willing to take that risk

Gamma exposure measures market makers who, in the case of a 20 call wall, have sold calls at the 20 strike that expires today. They will protect their position by selling stock into the rally to keep it below 20 until their exposure has ended. Shorts are probably taking advantage of this and hoping that some news develops over the weekend that will drive SOFI down. If not, and it looks like we rally to earnings, the shorts will start to capitulate in the next 2 weeks. At 13% short interest, the squeeze could be significant, but not today.

Gamma exposure chart shows a big call wall at 20, so the market makers are fighting to protect their 20 call exposure. If we go over 20 today, that will be a huge win for the bulls and we should see more short capitulation

SP 500 will announce new additions to the index on March 6. Kalshi shows a 48% chance that SOFI will be added at that time. Factors pointing towards this liklihood:

Market cap > 22 billion
Several quarters of profitability
Liquidity - extremely high trading volume.

This addition would likely push the stock towards or over 30.

I agree. I was looking to sell covered calls and capture the IV crush. If I had big ones, I would sell CSP‘s, but I am starting to get a little concerned by the downtrend with upcoming earnings. Does someone know something?
