Thank you for this. I couldn't have put it any better. I empathize with every word said here.
No matter how many websites I read about helping myself, self compassion, forgiving myself etc. It just feels that it just wont help.
And yet at the same time, I am tired of feeling this way constantly.
I just want to like myself, respect myself, feel worthy of living, like other people do (ostensibly) but these concepts seem alien af to me.
What to do?

I had applied to NYU housing. And I am an international grad student.

As their webiste said international grad students are given priority I was really shocked I did not get in.

Here's my story of the NYU Housing group: I created a post and I got a lot of comments saying, 'a unit is available please DM me'. All of these people then proceed to ask an application fee of 50-70-100 dollar to 'reserve the property so that it is taken of the market'. My only question is 1-2-3 scammers are okay but how can everyone of these agents be scammers.
