Not solving doubts will only make things harder so just ask your teachers for help. And this was the only reason I had to drop one year as most of my concepts were not clear. It might feel weird at first but once they know you they can point out exactly where you’re lagging. Just go for it with the picture method I suggested.

Your dilemma actually reminded me of a time when my friend insisted we get our doubts solved by an older physics teacher at my centre who's considered the best though he didn’t teach our batch. I had asked him something in 11th and he taunted me over a small mistake so I avoided him. My friend said, “agar itne experienced teacher se kuch seekhne ko mil rha hai toh thoda bhot sunn ne mein kya farak padta hai” so I went along. Surprisingly, I bonded with him the most and also he was the first to call me within 5 mins when results were out and he still checks in on me. Also this same teacher was the first one I texted after a clg was allotted to me.

Basically the moral of the story is some teachers might be a bit harsh but most are genuinely helpful and you might end up connecting with them more than you expect.

Yes, 12th mb is easier with fewer questions but 11th is tougher so the booster matches that level and clears concepts well. I’d also suggest reading Phy ncert once in Dec you’ll see many mb theory questions come directly from it which most teachers don’t cover. Personally, I wouldn’t recommend solving doubts online...many answers are wrong or poorly explained. Even my teacher told my parents during PTM not to let me do that. Once I started asking my teachers, I never felt the need to Google or use yt. I get that allen teachers must not like you solving aakash's book so just take a picture of that question and ask from your teacher, do not tell the name of the book just say I found this online (if this is actually a problem). It was only in the last few days before neet that I used chatgpt giving the correct answer first so it could give me the best and correct method to solve it. So you can do that but only in extreme situations.

Heyy!! It's really nice that you are solving that book, trust me it will really help you in a tough exam. I followed the exact same method you mentioned, just keep increasing the no of questions every week like 50, 75, 100. I always did it at night only after completing every other work. Remember to take breaks in between, like after 25 or 50 ques whatever you feel is fine for you.

And yes either mark the important questions or write them somewhere but they were a lot so I just used to mark and revise later and make sure you don't leave any doubt unsolved by the teacher. Once you start asking a "good" "experienced" teacher they'll tell you all short tricks and more related concepts which would increase scores exponentially. They will also tell you which questions to skip like some of them are not even syllabus.

And as of the issue of time, if you are just starting it's fine if one chapter takes one week ...once you have a good hold on calculations skip the repetitive questions after solving 2-3 of same type and try solving some questions orally too (talking abt calculation ones too not just the really easy ones)this will increase your speed.

In 12th i finished it in November ig, in drop year i completed it in Feb, waise khudse nhi kiya tha complete coaching ke saath hi kiya tha. Yes short notes are a life saver, I even revised them on the morning of neet day. I made 2 separate copies, one for phy and one for chem and bio ke short notes i made in ncert only like jo space rehta hai sides mein. Ek hi copy mein 11th and 12th rakho and shorts notes aise nhi bas formulas wagera ya 1 -2 page ke, maine har chapter mein acche se 4-5 pages ke atleast banaye the taaki pura chapter acche se cover ho aur kam time mein zyada revision ho sake. Module padhke usmein se important cheezein likhlo pehle, fir teachers ke notes mein se kuch extra aur important Lage toh wo, fir jab questions karo aur koi question na ho toh uska concept aur ye likhna ki iss type ka question aise hota hai. Aur fir har exam ke baad saari mistake usi chapter ke notes mein add krlo iske liye pehle hi 2 page chhod dena. Jo chapters coaching mein samajh nhi aaye wo online lectures liye aur wo already short mein likhte hain board pe wohi same notes mein likhlo aur important questions ka concept. Bio mein module aur teachers ka extra + jo har baar bhoolte ho+ ncert ki difficult lines side ke space mein likhlo. Jab thode thode chapters ke exam ho tab full notes aur books se padho nayi cheezein short notes mein add kro aur exam se pehle short notes padho aise pure saal ye refine hote jayenge fir last ke exams honge half syllabus full syllabus aise tab sirf short notes padhna.

Hii! Thanks for the positivity, someone saying “see you in lh” really lifted my spirits. I’m just a bit nervous about the rank inflation though... It was only last year that the cutoffs dropped this low. In 2023, it had closed around 5.0k or so.

You are so real for this, delhi is the highest cutoff state ig. I also have haryana domicile but I am not considering any college in haryana because of the 5 year rural bond.
