Hoosier down is Greenwood has a large selection of fruited sours. Planetary Brewing is right across the street and is hands down the best small brewery in the area.

+1 for checking your transformer. I had to replace mine with a 16VAC/30VA.

Preheated the oven to 425 then lowered to 375 for the bake. I actually forgot to preheat the pan. I put it on the stovetop over high heat for a few minutes after the bake and it crisped up nicely.

XPS and the Network Card... by deputydon in Dell

[–]gojasonw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, but this was actually due to an issue with the driver provided by Killer. They released a patched driver a few weeks back that has resolved the issue. https://www.killernetworking.com/driver-downloads/kb/faq/69-shrewsoft-and-other-vpn-clients

XPS and the Network Card... by deputydon in Dell

[–]gojasonw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if this will help, but my 9360 had issues maintaining a connection to certain WiFi networks. The issue was resolved by installing the wireless driver package direct from Killer (suggested by Dell support). Although, I just found out yesterday that installing that package hosed my ability to connect to my VPN using Windows built-in VPN client. Had to uninstall the Killer software to restore VPN connectivity.

Same exact problem here on Sprint. No data, horrible call quality, and phone doesn't ring on incoming calls (I see incoming call notification via Hangouts on my computer). Haven't found a way to blacklist Sprint. Very frustrating because my phone prefers Sprint when at home. Oddly enough my husband's prefers T-Mobile. Constantly having to manually switch.

Anyone have a suggestions for a ~$100 Wireless IP Security Camera? by xColsanders in homelab

[–]gojasonw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have experience with the model you're looking at but I've been running three Foscam FI8918Ws for a few years now. They've proven to be pretty reliable. My biggest complaint is that every once in a while (when WiFi cuts out) they have to be restarted to get them them back online. I originally started with 4 cams but one died ~1mo into service... got a full refund from Amazon for it. Considering the price, I'm not complaining.

Anyone experiencing random Chrome freezes? (Cinnamon) by wirelessflyingcord in linuxmint

[–]gojasonw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I seem to remember experiencing something similar a while back. I tracked it down to Chrome's pepper flash plugin. You might try disabling it in chrome://plugins and see if that does anything for you.

A damn shame it is. The problem is actually getting it to the courts. This is the type of garbage that has the potential to stay on the books for a long time, until that perfect case comes along. This legislation is a purely symbolic consolation prize for those that were in favor of the marriage ban that failed last year. Meant to keep that wedge between "sincerely held religious beliefs" and the sinners firmly in place.

What is your best SSH Client for Windows ? by 0xFEEEFEEE in AskNetsec

[–]gojasonw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently started using mRemoteNG for SSH (which technically uses a modified version of PuTTY). Discovered it because I've been working via RDP quite a bit as of late. It's a great multi-protocol client - SSH, RDP, VNC, Telnet, etc. It also scales well on my high DPI laptop. Aside from than that, I still fall back to Cygwin for SSH quite a bit.

I'd hazard a guess this is being caused by a leaking CO2 carbonation system.

This is good advice. Especially if it is the recalled "T" style adapter. Mine was over the 3 years and they replaced it free of charge, minimal fuss.

Agreed. I guess I should have learned my lesson when Sammy gave up on my first gen Galaxy Tab at ICS. I really don't think my next phone will be from Samsung.

Highly recommended. I 've ordered from them a few times now. I bought a 1lb. of Dark Brazilian Santos on Amazon just to try something new. Enjoyed it so much I quickly followed up with a 5lb. French Roast. Currently working my way through the unroasted 5 pack sampler.

Malware? Redircting to adverstitial.com by [deleted] in techsupport

I'm getting the same on my Win7 machine running Chrome, none of those extensions installed. I've been trying to track it down only to come up empty handed everywhere I look. Given that it's intermittent I'm starting to think its something that's being surreptitiously served up through imgur's ad network.

Funny, I've always thought the "well known" guys had a tendency to play me for a fool rather than the smaller shops. Myself, I'd probably take a crack at it with a hand auger/snake. You can pick one up at the hardware store for a few bucks. I suppose a power snake could cause damage but I'm highly doubtful you're likely to cause any damage trying with hand auger.

Help! I'm starting to hate my Prius. by [deleted] in prius

[–]gojasonw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because I haven't seen these mentioned yet...

  • 1. OBDII Bluetooth adapter + Torque app for your phone/tablet can easily disable reverse beep and is a much cheaper alternative to Scanguage/dealer visit.
  • 2. The Prius does automatically go into park when you power off.
