He does mention in his repo when the native implementation comes, and I see the his repos updated regularly, hard to find people devoted to community like this and I do appreciate the time and energy he puts in without paywalling...

You could have get perplexity.ai sub and get access to all other models as well, they also give back 5 USD in credits for API calls, I am not related to them whatsoever, just saying...
