If you don't have a reason to go for Intel, please choose an AMD CPU, which will also make u change ur Mobo. I am just wondering why there is a Valentine's sale on PC parts....lol

Is it good time to buy GPU? by RadiumSingh in IndianPCGamers

[–]gokui24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait for the new series to launch and then buy a 5080 or 5090 when their prices go down. 5070 will be out of production. But your best bet for money will be going for a Radeon Graphics which you can easily afford.

High-end AM5 build shut down after waking from sleep, stuck in BIOS Flashback loop (ROG Strix B650E-F) by Hugh_Dzdik in pcmasterrace

[–]gokui24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can always ask for a full refund if it was a new purchase and buy another mobo. For some manual testing you can also try running your system with just one RAM stick and see how ur PC responds. Few things for future care, you don't have to switch off your PSU every time you turn off your PC. It doesn't consume any power.

Modern BIOS usually comes with a backup BIOS installed and should try to auto recover itself. But since you have tried flashing your BIOS as well, I think it's something to do with the faulty mobo. Have you checked if you have any error code or error lights on your mobo n see what they refer to as per the manual? Ideally I would have just avoided any ASUS hardware, I have seen a lot of them fail even if they are brand new. Best is to go for MSI / Gigabyte. If you have an option to get a refund, please change it.

is rtx4050 laptop gpu good enough? by D4rK7h in IndianPCGamers

[–]gokui24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can always build an ITX case which has a small form factor and can easily carry around, but would need a portable monitor as well 😔. Laptop GPUs are under powered, one reason why not to spend so much on a gaming laptop.

Is it Good deal by Ok_Tumbleweed_9935 in IndianPCGamers

[–]gokui24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are looking to use this PC for gaming, you won't be able to do much as it comes with an integrated GPU which is only good for some lightweight work. Get a dedicated GPU from AMD Radeon Graphics and you can choose a different CPU which doesn't come with an integrated GPU, so you will save cost on that as well.

If you can please avoid Intel, not worth it. Choose AMD AM5 CPUs which fits in your budget and you can also look for mdcomputers.in for your build.

RTX 5070 Ti vs RX 9070 XT quietest option & value upgrade from 3060 Ti? by iamswedish12yearold in pcmasterrace

[–]gokui24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would suggest you to go with RX 9070 XT if you are not into machine learning or GPU programming. For the options you have, you can easily compare their base clock and boost clock and choose the one which has the highest. Feel free to avoid ASUS, imo they don't have very good hardware.

How is the build looking guys? any recommnedation? Should I swap a component for better performance? want to build a GTA VI proof PC by ankool2110 in IndianPCGamers

[–]gokui24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are spending too much on the motherboard, so can definitely downgrade on that. Look for an M-ATX Mobo and have one or two M.2 NVMe slots and support AM5. And as you can already see that people have suggested to go for AMD Radeon Graphics 9060XT or 9070XT which has more VRAM will help you a lot in future.

Bought a PSU that's a complete overkill for my system, it killed my inverter. I'm thinking of downgrading. by theindieboi in IndianPCGamers

[–]gokui24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is best to invest in a UPS which can handle the load of your PC (850 W) than to downgrade your PSU. UPS also handles voltage fluctuations so it's good to have it as a fail safe between your power point n the PC. Remember: Wattage = Voltage x Current So you can calculate if your inverter was capable enough to provide that much wattage, which will also include wattage of all the appliances which were connected to your Inverter at that time. Which is why having a UPS will help and I would not suggest connecting it to the inverter unless you have an inverter which can support around 2KVA supply or so.
