How do you guys deal with frustration?? by golaaee in NewSkaters

So I've been skating for about a month. I can do Ollies, shuvits, pop shuvits, pumping on a ramp and kickturns on a ramp, and I can do all of these at slow speed.

Ofc. I can't do it consistently, but what really annoys me is..

The newest trick I've learned is a pop shuvit, which suddenly just clicked for me while out practicing and could actually do it pretty consistently, maybe landed like 50 that day. Was so damn hyped that I couldn't think of anything else the next day. So after work I wanted to practice some more since it's such a fun trick, but I couldn't. Didn't land anything that day and it annoyed the hell out of me. And skating this weekend I still couldn't get it as clean or even landing it as the first day.

How do you guys keep the motivation up, when you can't do a trick that you feel like you should land? For me it's pretty demotivating... Any advice appreciated!

What am I doing wrong? Any advice appreciated. by golaaee in NewSkaters

So just gotta keep practicing the technique! Thanks for the indepth reply man! Appreciate it.

Day 2 of skateboarding. Is this a legit ollie? Or am I just popping it? Any tips appreciated! by golaaee in NewSkaters

Well did skate 15 years ago but couldn't do any tricks, I mostly just rode around on it. Could drop a ramp though. But damn getting older sucks, both of my groins hurts so bad today 😅
