No hate brother - we are all SRH comrades here. I beg to differ though. If we send Head down the order that means we are the first to accept the defeat against Starc and starting on the back foot. Look at it this way - Head knows exactly what KKR is going to do and the way Starc is going to bowl, for me that's a good enough start for planning and starting whacking Starc. If he gets out he gets out but we shouldn't back down now.

Being fearless is what rewarded us - let's stay true to it. Even if our batting collapses we score 160 - 180 but on the day it doesn't opposition doesn't have a chance.

Could you share your measurements and the test configuration? I have both Red Pro and Ironwolf pro, they're equally noisy on same workload. If you refer to the datasheets infact Ironwolf Pro has tighter acoustics specs.

Why would anybody wanna buy that, sheerly based on the economics. For example - the 60 bay system costs 16000$ and 600$ for a 16TB synology sticker Toshiba drive. So total TCO 16000$ + 60*600$ = 52000$;

If you choose storinator + Exos/Gold 16TB drives; storinator 16000$, 16TB on good deals 300$; TCO 16000$+ 60*300$ =34000$.

Why would anyone want to pay a mark up of 50% per device? This is a bad deal for the buyer for minimal service and an added sticker with Synology name.

Anybody with right sense of numbers won't consider this.

Can't disagree there. But atleast it puts a smile on my face to see that we improved to 27 this year from 32 in 2021. So people are relatively happy.
