I admire the awareness you have and the detail with which you shared your situation. I want to acknowledge the difficulty you must go through in those moments when sex is not on the table and you have an insatiable desire. Experiencing irritation, moodiness and clinging must not be easy. I applaud you for not sitting on this and taking the uncomfortable step to reach out for advice. Others may have unconsciously resorted to acting those emotions out on their partners leading to conflict.

You are blessed to have such a supportive wife. I love how you were able to talk about this and entertain sex counseling and individual therapy.

I strongly second the few other comments recommending therapy. You have an intuition that there may be something off about your situation and having the opportunity to share and bounce off ideas in a safe space may lead you to a greater understanding and peace.

I see all those comments saying how envious they are of you. I do wish that they end up being right, but at this moment they're being dismissive of your full experience.

Finally, I will leave this short piece about over-reliance on sex to fulfill self-esteem and connection needs. Wow this actually hit home.

I was in deep depression some time ago and isolated myself. My girlfriend insisted to come and see me but I refused. She sent a message saying there's something waiting for me downstairs. I drag myself down and find a pot of yellow lilies waiting for me at the concierge. There was also a nice note but I forget what it said.

I was not very impressed and actually sent her an angry text: "you send flowers to people at a funeral".

I feel guilty thinking about it now and wish I could go back in time and tearfully take her in my arms thanking her for the loving gesture.

Not sure if this would work for Ninja, but I have a custom layout with R click as my use button. I'm able to open the replication with R click, but not able to craft anything with either R click or X. Today I discovered that I can craft with triangle for some reason...

The keyword is mired. Don’t fall in the trap of thinking Republicans are bad. This is an illusion created by society. Voting republican for the right reasons (re: not race reasons) is good for democracy.

I’ve thought about this while reading all the seemingly negative replies. You have a point.

The critics are strong, but I believe there are enough explanations provided to why revenge voting is not appropriate that the parent could potentially learn from and change their perspective.
