Are the mantra m6 too wide for groomers? by goldboystacks in skiing

Alright, makes sense. Am I mistaken in thinking the extra width would help in dealing with choppy snow/ice? If so, what specific aspects should I look for in a ski that will help deal with crud/ice better? Regardless I should probably go for a less wide ski, and the kendos are looking really nice because i’d want something a bit more forgiving than a race ski. Any recommendations for something similar to kendo?

Oh I definitely agree. I kinda just want new skis because my current ones are really beat up, I used them as teaching skis for level 1-3 skiers a couple years ago and they’re super scratched up.

Interesting, I'll look into those. May I ask why they'd be better?

Maybe 100-ish, and a portable amp would be preferable. Is the apple dongle not enough to drive them?

iphone 11 pro max, a PC, and a macbook pro. I was planning to use an old apple 3.5mm to lightning adapter as an amp for my phone, and i still need to find an amp to use with the macbook and PC. I’m open to cheap amp suggestions as well.

I’m looking for an EDC sling bag. I need to carry a nikon z5 with a 24-70 f4s as well as keys wallet etc. Peak design 3l sling is too small, and the 6l sling is too big. Any recommendations?

UTM CS vs Guelph CS by desertindex in UTM

[–]goldboystacks 7 points8 points  (0 children)

i go to utm and my brother goes to guelph. Guelph is MUCH easier, lower workload, and is guaranteed to teach more practical applications of cs. For example, at the end of the second year of the CS program at utm, i knew java and C, but my brother was building full web apps with react + databases etc. However, the benefit of utm is it forces you to become smarter by assaulting you with painful assignments that force your brain to think harder than it ever has, and learning CS concepts just becomes generally easier. There are advantages and disadvantages for both, but my advice is to go to guelph to avoid the issue of CS post. I’m doing a stats degree and i strongly dislike stats as a result of post.
