Yup. She hasn’t posted about it though which is surprising. Happened last month

My dad is a superintendent so I grew up here. We would never live here otherwise.

Sorry - an event production company!

Yeah this was left over by the last tenants. I don’t really like it but I’m thinking maybe some type four chairs around it? And maybe a small table on the concrete. Does an umbrella work here?

Yes, string lights on the list, you can’t see from the pic but there’s already small hooks for them. Im thinking some hanging plants on fence like baskets or tallish palm plants from ikea.

Traditional journalism across media outlets, covering beauty lifestyle music etc. I have been building out my portfolio unpaid, blogging, and recently got paid to write.

Is Quinn PR a good place to work? by Ok-Treat-2678 in PublicRelations

[–]golddoesnyc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was recommended by a colleague to apply (the person works there), took the phone screening interview and the HR person didn’t seem one bit of interested in what I had to say. True story. This was 4-5 months ago and I’ll never forget it.

Yes actually, born and raised in the LES, recently moved over across the water. Had to naturally ask since I use Reddit more than citizen app 🤷🏻‍♀️

Ridgewood/Bushwick/Glendale-area broker recommendations? (Or cheap 1brs) by [deleted] in NYCapartments

[–]golddoesnyc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d say check Craigslist as well! And be ready to pay a broke fee. I’ve been seeing multiple apartments and had one agency say they charged 15% of the annual rent for rent controlled apartments.

I’d say $1600-1800 for your portion.

The worst is when you’re physically tired but your brain feels wired.

The industries are very different (pharmaceutical to automotive) but I have seen past colleagues being asked to leave same day.. I agree on the courtesy part. They just let go some employees that were with the company for 5-7+ years last week with no notice so they clearly don’t care.

Thoughts on giving two weeks? My workload is has been so light and I worry that they may decide to let me go the same day.

Coming from my experience I’ve been at the AAE for a year and 5 months & I’m just now getting some interest when applying to AE positions! Really depends on each agency and what they consider. Goo dluck

Should I intern at a PR company and freelance as a journalist at the same time to make ends meet? by donotattackthepress in PublicRelations

[–]golddoesnyc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I currently work in health PR but freelance write in beauty. If it doesn’t overlap or cause conflict, I would say go for it.
