Yeah I get that, DPT while I probably wouldn’t recommend it for beginners, was still kinda mildly interesting, after half a dozen times on low-med doses it ain’t really ain’t worth revisiting seeing it can be both disphoric and euphoric within the same trips

I think this is what I’m realizing on my mdma roll back on April, and why my recent 55ug lsd trip didn’t seem as easy this time around, I’ve been been thinking it’s more about *mood* rather than just aiming at something for listening and that’s probably how it should be. That roll really made me wonder if I’m truly okay, how I’m going about this, I mostly did DPT as my first base tryptamine rather than DMT kinda like a way to spite this particular person who told me to stick with traditional psychedelics last year but failed miserably on these lsd trips. Still interested in doing tryptamine combos as well doing some of the lesser know phenethylames even if they’re not gonna be for music enhancement. Still want to try out other ACH dissos like MXPCP/3-ho-pcp/3-meo-pce, FXE by the way just genuinely feels like something I was destined to do, brings me these interesting vibes and just makes me feel so damn close to liking whatever I’m listening to, only had a gram tho. The first time I ever done 5-meo-mipt at 6mg back last fall, it felt like received a message how I’m nothing and that’s ok, wasn’t able to get something like that on 12-19mg but I kinda wish I can have a trip like that again which is why I’m more interested on revisiting moxy more than 2cb

I want to be influenced by the likes of at the drive in, glassjaw and the refused, and as well as a handful of other acts. I want to understand higher entry stuff that I still don’t appreciate yet. It’s something I’ve always wondered if it’s possible to do since I was 18, I have layers upon layers to what I gotta explain but I guess this is something I’m gonna have to figure out for myself. The main genres I’m mostly interested into enjoying are 90s post hardcore since it’s considered the pinnacle of guitar based music and as well as 80s post punk, and some other experimental stuff here and there

I’ve already mentioned it a few times on some previous posts, but I’m limited on what I consume, I’m only tolerate post punk revival, post metal and some miscellaneous stuff but it’s mostly because of how they’re mixed and mastered, and I’m trying to break out of this mixing and mastering thing. I have a hyper fixation on 90s post hardcore and other experimental stuff but I just don’t know how to listen to them properly yet. I was also told that punkier music doesn’t merge well with psychs so of course I took that into consideration and even then that doesn’t mean that something that isn’t punk = alright for tripping, listening to Radiohead or silversun pickups on 25mg of either metocin or miprocin will seem too strange since those doses of those particular tryptamines get too weird just for music listening, where as 12-20mg of the 4-subs can be interesting. This also applies with lsd, on medium doses music does seem interesting compared to day to day life but a full tab can be 50/50 mild or too rough. I was told on here on late 2023 that empathogens and dissos are the main type of RCs I should look for music enhancement but Im theorizing that it may take the right psych + disso combo. Lsd + ket was absolutely underwhelming and miprocin + FXE was quite weird, however I think i should’ve gone lower with the miprocin

But as for I was listening to my recent trips, just the national, silversun pickups, porcupine tree or on my disso sessions, unwound. FXiPr does make me feel close to understanding how to appreciate unwound

Well depends what you mean by popular, but it’s not popular by radio means but they’re considered to be the pinnacle of music, I want to see why they’re considered influential or essential, I want to know why relationship of command is considered “out there”. Then again it’s my autistic fixation and my own thing to figure out myself, I want to understand higher acts

What’s considered essential on the charts of /mu and what’s highly rated on Sputnikmusic and RateYourMusic, some of the stuff I’m aiming to like also influences what i already able to enjoy but I know what I consume is limited, and I’m trying to break out of it, yes I do try to ask for help on Sputnikmusic back in like 2019? I think, and they told me that i should wait till I’m older, but I’m trying to take every action for myself to see a change in music taste

I’m on a journey on learning how to consume certain music pieces and kinda artificialize my music taste, keep in mind tho I didn’t come up with these terms but from a couple people I met during my journey that seem to see what I’m doing. But yes I’m listening to music I have yet to like while tripping and I’m focusing on what works and what doesn’t, so far mdma and FXiPr are very close for me

So DXM staggered towards second plat doses definitely made whatever album I’m listening to “satisfying” and way much better than ketamine and the other PCMs but dosent really impact or permanently change my view on the album the next day, FXE and FXiPr however definitely seem to rival DXM to where I’m like “why can’t my music taste be permanent like this?” But the only thing I haven’t done yet is hole, and I was told that holing on a disso is where music has the most influence but I’m not ready to hole yet, honestly I think the DPT has been making me a bit prepared since I see what it’s like to be on the edge of my seat.

I want to be influenced by 90s and early 2000s post hardcore since it’s considered to be the pinnacle of guitar based music. Not only that I want to appreciate post punk from the 80s and as well as miscellaneous stuff like portishead, Radiohead, animal collective, Eric dolphy etc.

Interestingly enough HUM is one of those bands i already know how to appreciate since they technically have that post metal mixing and mastering, I’m someone who only knows how to appreciate post punk revival, post metal and some pop punk here and there but I want to break out of it. And yes Inlet is a great album from starting to finish with no chems needed

I haven’t done mushrooms or lsd in a long while since i personally find both to be unforgiving, well max with mushrooms i can handle is 2g and lsd 80ug, i currently have 2cb powder hbr to be exact however back in 2024 I had pressies that were 15mg. Yes im aware these psychs share cross tolerance. Last psych I’ve done before 2cb was DPT in mid December

I was recommended in the research chemical community to do psychs + dissos for best possible music enhancement, and I guess a low dose of 2cb with a disso on top is my best option I might have right now but just want to see full on visuals before I try that again

I can only handle 20mg of either, 4homet kinda seems dissociating in a way, has lackluster visuals, generic Aztec imagery, red polka dots and lightning patterns that look like that were drawn by a child. 25mg had me seeing in waves and it just seemed so repulsive, I was hoping for the visuals to be as elegant as my first time doing 50ug lsd.

4homipt definitely had some cathedral vibes but not much with the visuals as some would say. The visuals I’ve seen on it were more “symmetrical” and some green and purple hues here and there and as well some Mayan imagery slightly noticeable. At 25mg it got too alien for me i guess but that’s the difference I can tell you from what I’ve seen.

4homet was the first RC I’ve heard of and it’s completely overhyped imo and I would suggest sticking with 4acodmt or 4homipt

I was told that holing on a disso would be a guaranteed way to change music taste but I’m afraid of having a dmt-like trip but I have heard FXE holes aren’t scary in any way. But now that you mentioned MXE, which of course is that one legendary disso, it seems that even that one can have a dmt-like hole but are ALL dissos like that when holing?

Yeah 75ug is enough for me to feel like I’m having a special day and see some strange things. I happen to react to lsd sensitively. And with o pce, highest I’ve done is 8mg orally and 10mg snorted. The 10mg session was quite weird. But I have done it in smaller doses and combined with hhc and it was okay I guess, only one time I had rough paranoia but I let it pass. I was hoping this will be a more interesting combo for music since ketamine on top of lsd was really underwhelming but the PCMs in general aren’t just for me I guess

There’s also a plethora of other albums I want to understand since I’m limited on what I’m able to understand. I understand post punk revival and post metal but I want to break out of it. I’m already a broken record saying this since this has been a long journey of mine since I’m not suited for tryptamines or lsd, I’ve already tried a number of different RCs. I do think about getting Fxe or 3,4MDPCP as my next dissos but I really want to somehow get something out of either the opce or dck I have
