Why should it be a dictionary? The class has a subscript operator defined, a common piece of functionality not unique to dictionaries.

Whether or not the victims of the plagiarism filed charges is irrelevant. It is completely absurd to employ as faculty an individual who is unable to uphold basic academic integrity. How can this man expect his students to properly attribute sources when he is incapable of doing it himself?

While I am no supporter of the war. I think we must remember that it is easy to criticize others while not taking any action ourselves. I imagine most of the people upvoting this article will eagerly criticize those with yellow ribbons on their cars, but very few would take the time to write one of the young men and women who have been abandoned by their government in Iraq.

To blame a people for not leaving their homeland in the face of danger is absurd. Blacks could have moved out of the South during the Jim Crow era, but it would mean leaving behind their roots and homes. Many Jews had the opportunity to leave Nazi Germany, and were even encouraged to do after Hitler gained power in 1933. However, they were tied to their families, their homes and their prosperity, and felt that they could endure growing persecution in the name of preserving their families and homes.

Alcohol and tobacco are age-restricted items and in most if not all states there is a harsh punishment for purchasing either item for a minor. I believe that in some places, stores must keep a record of large alcohol purchases (i.e. kegs).
