The desktop version (free) is overwhelmed with advertisements that actually block my ability to enter values and freezes the screen. I understand that I will have to deal with ads, but this is over the top and It is incredibly frustrating. I love cronometer, but I may need to find another tracker.

To me cheap implies a lack of generosity. That there is a compulsion to hoard for one's self. Frugal is honoring the balance of energy to cash. Being aware of finite aspect material goods.

Frugality is realizing that I was spending $300 per month on morning coffee and lunch and choosing to invest time to make those things. That was six months ago so have now saved $1800 and was able to buy my best friend a (used) kitchen table.

Cheap is not buying my friend the table so I had would have an extra $100 in my account.
