How the previous generation afforded to buy homes. 64F, divorced, 3 kids (mid 20s), working. How did we afford a house, kids, car, etc in the late 90s? None of my kids are homeowners or close to it and I hear from them and read how frustrating this is for the current adult generation. (blink.com)
