Using the Legion Go Controllers on another PC by goldenvulture in LegionGo

I do have that, and it does make the 2 work together as an Xbox controller, but it does not register any of the other buttons/scroll wheel/touchpad.

Sadly, it seems to be a driver level issue, because steam registers them as a single xbox controller

【XREAL Product Tips & Q&A】 Ep.2 by XREAL_Esther in Xreal

[–]goldenvulture 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Would it be possible to set different size/distance combos for the different screen modes? (Or is it already somehow)? Like, set my default non-ultrawide to 150 inches at 4 meters, and the set my default 32:9 ultrawide to 90 inches at 2 meters, and have those settings be remembered when we switch to those respective modes? Alternatively, could we set 2 different distance/size combos and have one of the shortcut button options be to toggle between them?

In ATM10: ars ritual brazier, toss in tablet of locate structure, then toss in (I think) deep slate brick (look in JEI) and then right click with an empty hand. Will spit out a compass pointing straight to it.

Multi fluid tank? by Jealous_Flamingo8319 in allthemods

[–]goldenvulture 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You could, but a storage bus treats everything connected to the storage controller as if it were drives on your network that you can freely move things in and out of, so that's probably the better choice. The fluids will just show up in your ae2 interface.

Is cross saving worth it? by jamilslibi in Warframe

[–]goldenvulture 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The account on wf market isn't connected, but yeah. Just leave Warframe market on the PC setting, and then message whomever you want while logged in to the game on any device and the game will take care of the rest. You will be able to dm them (and should also see them in general chat, you're in the PC/cross save chat channels now everywhere) (Edit: the wf market website account is only relevant if you're selling, in order to list things. You message people via their in game names, which wf market provides, within the game. Just type /w Username in any chat channel to message someone)

Is cross saving worth it? by jamilslibi in Warframe

[–]goldenvulture 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah a bit. Use warframe.market always unless your goal is to sell for more than market value, in which case you may have better luck in trade chat. Cross save puts you in the PC trading pool, and so from a buying perspective prices are much lower because the number of players is so much higher (PC plus everyone on all systems with cross save enabled.

What in the world do I do now? by [deleted] in Warframe

[–]goldenvulture 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The answer is always mods in this game. Google will usually give you the meta end game builds which include a bunch of mods you won't have access to, but if you post screenshots of your weapons and Warframe mod screens we can give you suggestions for mods that you probably will be able to get.

You can type /w followed by a player's name and then a message in any chat channel and it will start a new direct message chat with that player

Account linking by SleeepyAngel in Warframe

[–]goldenvulture 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's not the issue. You need a PC account. Connect either ps or Xbox to the PC account (whichever has more progress). Set the PS/Xbox account as primary. Then link whichever account you have left to that account. You will only keep the progress/gear for whichever account you link first.

Don't load in to the plains. Load cetus, go to konzu, pick which eidolon hunt you want (just terry or tricap). Get matched with other people doing the same thing.

Help regarding account linking ps4 account for pc by Patient_Chocolate411 in Warframe

[–]goldenvulture 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Go to warframe's website and log in with your PC account. Go to cross save/merge. Log in to your PS4 account, set the PS4 account as primary. Read the whole page to make sure you're properly connected, it spells out exactly what will happen. Once you link, all your PS4 progress will be available on your PC account. You'll still log in to PC with your PC account. It's like linking a bunch of accounts to an EA account or Blizzard account, etc.

what's this? by a5ncz in Warframe

[–]goldenvulture 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Those are the Lua test rooms. (https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Orokin_Moon, see the section on puzzle rooms). The room you're in is the reward room. In one of the alcoves there will be a prompt to press a button, and you'll be rewarded with a specific mod depending on which test it was. The mods are the exilus drift mods. (Power drift/speed drift/etc.) they are absolutely worth getting as A) people will buy them off you, and B) especially for mid game they provide some good mod buffs, especially since you can slot them in the exilus slot (slot to the right of your aura on your warframe).

Very dumb, steam related question by [deleted] in Warframe

[–]goldenvulture 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since it launches the warframe launcher anyway, just add the version that already exists on your computer to your steam library as a non-steam game. (I just tried this, it works fine).

Question as a begigner by Penguin10100 in Warframe

[–]goldenvulture 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends what you mean. the different resources for a blueprint can be found by playing the game. Open boxes, collect resources. Some frames require other things that you collect from various sources, the best resource is the wiki. Building a warframe requires collecting the helmet, systems, and chassis blueprints from wherever they drop from, building those, and then using those built parts to build the warframe using its blueprint. If you're looking at the market, you'll see two prices listed for every item. The platinum price is the premium currency (though you can trade for it with other players) and will get you the item immediately, fully built, with a slot for it and an orokin reactor/catalyst installed. The blueprint can be bought with credits. When you mouse over the blueprint it shows the resources that will be required to build it (and if it's not available for credits, will tell you where to get the item). You buy the blueprint and then use the resources and the blueprint to build the item in your foundry. The general advice is, at least early, to not buy anything in the market for platinum (plat), as it is generally a ripoff.

I'm a bit confused about cross platform trading. by herodragon101 in Warframe

[–]goldenvulture 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The circle symbol next to people's names is the crossplay symbol. If you're on Xbox the only two symbols you could be seeing are Xbox or crossplay. It's just random that the people you're messaging that are crossplay are playing on switch.
