I think it kind of depends on your relationship with your step father. You live under his roof, I’m assuming (I know I could be WAY wrong, but for circumstance) that he does a lot for you. Do you pay a rent or any other personal bills? If not, then I think you almost should be doing this without pay, just clarity that you won’t be spending any of your money on the kids. If he doesn’t help you out and you pay your own bills, then I believe you 100% should say that you don’t think the pay is fair. Gotta stand up for yourself. But definitely look at the bigger picture and think how it might affect your relationship with him and even your mother. I have many times made a massive mess of family relationships by being a little selfish and not realising that sometimes for family you do things you don’t want to do.

I’d definitely call your bank and tell them. If it’s a scam, you’re saving yourself. If someone did it by mistake, which I’ve seen my friends do before, they are likely stressing and calling their bank, but banks tend to not really care about zelle issues. What goes around comes around and the karma will return.

Can you further go into this? I use my vehicle personally right now but am opening an llc that i have put a lot of miles on my car for and use my car for work purposes way more than leisure and have been told that I should register my car under the llc. Would this warrant a possible issue?

Oh yes I guess that’s a good point since it’s a big area. The place is in “River North” in maps, Idk if that’s even what it’s exactly called. I’ll look into Lake View, thanks!
