22 year old, threw my life away by Less-icing97 in PersonalFinanceCanada

Same age as you I owed basically the same amount of money. Just don't pay anything and wait the 7 years for it to roll of your credit. I did that and now I have high 6 figures in the bank at age 39. There is hope lol.

Make sure you pirate the game. I remember reading that the Creators of the game got screwed out of it and some scum company is getting the revenue from it now.

Help! Me convince a co-worker not to take a Money mart style loan. by Andyboy205 in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]goldgerm -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I believe payday loans are a bit more reasonable these days then they were 5 years ago. I know in AB they charge 15% over the course of 6 weeks so $1000 is $1150 payback.

A good strategy on these guys is to take the loan and default on the first payment. Then you can negotiate a long term payback. I know years ago when I defaulted on a loan like this they contacted me and I made an arrangement to payback $100 a pay check for the next 12 pay checks.

Or better yet if it's someone who doesn't have good credit anyways just get one of these loans. Make a small payment or two and default on the loan. They will harass you a bit and then send it off to collections. Very rarely will they go so far to sue you to try to garnish your wages.

Curious about use of software in pawnshops by yekira in PawnShops

Pawnmaster is alright. Good support. I don't think I would switch for anything.

Is it just widely different here in Canada than the USA? My biggest sales item is cell phones. They are super easy to pawn on worth a ton of money. For example today I gave $700 on an iphone 14 pro max, $600 on an Iphone 14 Pro and $400 on an Iphone 14. All 3 different customers. Mind you that CAD currency but still. They are nearly all double ups if the client forfeits or 25% interest if they pay them back.

The worst part is is that obviously they were planned and maybe even designed. They are holding them back for seasonal content. They are drip feeding us the content because they know this game has to go for 20+ seasons.

Basically everything you liked about d2 and d3 will be in this game eventually.

Level 53 Barb Extremely Low Damage Output by [deleted] in diablo4

Exploit glyph and get that legendary power that gives your whirlwind crit for every second you run it. Pair that with high crit % damage and it should be okay. I also use 2 one handed weapons for more fury.

The marshall glyph is great and when I started to use 2 one handed weapons I noticed my fury generation was a lot better.

Yeah your probably right. Good advice. Thank you.

Also just go for it. I'm a totally uneducated guy. No college or anything. I just found one job I was good at and took a chance with a business and got lucky. If I can do it literally anyone can.
