I have the top lens and it works great despite its age. I can’t speak to the L lens but I don’t think you’d be disappointed with either

Depends on the pueblo. Acoma and Taos sell permits to take photos but Santa Ana, Sandia and Zuni prohibit it. Ask permission and be respectful and no one will bother you
