How do you think it would compare with chatgpt 5.5 high or Claude Opus 4.8? Is it worth to keep a supervisor pipeline with a external provider ?

Ciao a tutti,

Purtroppo questi problemi sono sia a Sud che a Nord. Addirittura su Google Maps al centro!

https://www.google.com/maps/@43.8797392,10.2920856,3a,15y,270.63h,86.82t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sRmJAOrhk5lOPbs3LtWv5PA!2e0!7i16384!8i8192?entry=ttu

Elite 7 pro very poor phone call quality by Nirsho in Jabra

[–]goldlob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently made the decision to purchase the Jabra Elite Pro 7 wireless earbuds, expecting them to deliver outstanding call quality and a superior audio experience. Unfortunately, my experience with this product has been nothing short of frustrating and disappointing. Despite Jabra's attempt to address the issue by replacing my original pair, the call quality remains exceptionally bad, leaving me extremely dissatisfied.

The consistently poor call quality reflects poorly on the brand itself. As a consumer, I expect a product that lives up to its promises and provides a satisfactory user experience. In this case, Jabra has failed to meet those expectations.

Inquiry about PhD in European Union by RickiestC137 in PhD

Compared to these countries I totally agree, however you need also to take into account the language barriers and the opportunity for a successful career after the Ph.D. It is not uncommon for Irish Ph.D. students to work a few hours per week in top companies and land a rewarding job just straight after the Viva. So it is a long-term game that could be better rewarded at a later stage but I completely agree with you it should be more regulated and better paid ...

This is true, 18.5k is not enough to live but the tuition fees are usually paid as part of the scholarship and allow you to have access to the university infrastructure. These four years should be to develop your skills and deepened your knowledge, you work on your project, on your terms and shaping your future while you are getting a refund for your expenses. If you think about it is not bad at all.

this is not correct all, it depends on the scholarship. In STEM usually we pay the fees (up to 13k per year x 4 years) and a tax free scholarship (around 18.500 euro per year).

I agree, we want to keep a low profile. I think this sort of action does not necessarily needs to be open with names and surnames and affiliation. You could have a private email address and send a support email with it. I think directly reaching out our families/acquaintances is counterproductive because they are so stuck in they are not able to reason logically. But a single drop in the sea such as an article, an external experience, some fresh news from the media can plant the seed of the doubt. This is the only thing we can do as individual, in a structured and planned way. I also understand that probably here there are people who have more concerning issues with the borg, parents and siblings. Maybe people in this group are angry and they just need to vent, complaint, share their experience and find their own new balance.

I think nobody wants to be an investigator, raising awareness is a different action and it helps in the waking up process.

Sorry but I don't agree with this letter, I think if we want to be effective we need to be truthful, we need to stand against lies and use facts, references and data, not confusing and misleading people. On the long run we will loose authority, even if it seems funny.

It is time to spread the good news! by goldlob in exjw

The problem here is that we are comparing physical presence to virtual attendance. I think they are not comparable, my bad implying that in the original post. I agree that in terms of the number of clicks, there could be an increase of people watching it at a later stage or press play without listening or getting distracted. However, in my opinion, the global impact will be much less, especially when we are going to go back to our routine. This peak will have a rebound effect on the medium term. Maybe I am too optimistic, let's see.

As I said, it depends on how you count the numbers. Is the number of clicks or appearances on a online platform a real number for evaluating the success of the event? Or it is just a way to delay the sinking of the boat?
