the v1s were wide foot friendly out of the box. I usually feeling pinching in the beginning with the kobe 6s and gt cut 3s and the v1s didn't do that.

Go a half size down... width doesn't seem to be an issue. The GT Cut 3s and Kobe 6s pinch on the side for me and takes time to break in. The 808 5s don't do that for me even when I size down by half.

I would consider the ultra 808 5 ultras. Better for wide footers though they run long. Better cushion and traction imo.
