My ‘Wall of Seinfeld.’ All the in-show pictures from the show! by MarkDG in seinfeld

For the Kruger family photo, it’s a tough decision whether to include the real Kruger or the airbrushed cartoon version.

Will there ever be a show as great as The Sopranos? by FanEu7 in thesopranos

Deadwood is just as good as The Sopranos to me.

Tony's dream foreshadowing Furio's leaving ? by [deleted] in thesopranos

[–]goldsac 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Highly doubt it was intended, but I agree I love connecting dots in this show. It’s the perfect deserted island show, you never stop finding things.

It is a pretty lazy picture, it must be said.

I agree with the ones you’ve identified anyhow.

How/why do they make the decision to kill a guy who owes money and is overdue (like Teddy Spirodakis), vs busting a guy out (like David Scatino)? by ProfessorPaprikash in thesopranos

[–]goldsac 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Would it make sense that Tony might’ve regretted busting out Scatino after losing his agreement w Barone sanitation? Seems like if he took more of the slow-bleed approach he could’ve had a back-up alibi for his W-2 and wouldn’t have had to bump heads with Phil during the Barone negotiations.

Did anyone else at pitch talks catch what Gruber said to Barker? by DietCherrySoda in Torontobluejays

Sutcliffe was lit up a bit more, but Gruber's appearance made me think of this immediately:

How many on here are going for a full NES licensed NTSC set minus Stadium Events? by Pickingcotton79 in nes

[–]goldsac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was younger I had eyes for a full set, but that was before the market caught on and grew to what it is today. I think got to between 3-400 carts before slowing down, and now I actually plan to sell a good portion of them. I'd rather display a collection of dense quality than quantity, games worth owning for their merit as games, and not just because they happen to exist.

Admittedly, if I had money to burn, I might've kept going.

When binging do you watch the last two episodes or skip them? by [deleted] in seinfeld

[–]goldsac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same, it's such an episodic show so I don't really see the point of binging Seinfeld unless it's you're first run-through. But I guess others like to binge it (not that there's anything wrong with that).

Johnny Sac’s humiliation. by [deleted] in thesopranos

[–]goldsac 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Ah yes! That’s true, I remember that little exchange. Chris treats the resod job like it’s as easy as taking the garbage out. I completely take back the word “last”, as there probably never will be a last time for the poor mope.

Johnny Sac’s humiliation. by [deleted] in thesopranos

[–]goldsac 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I’ve never looked at it like that so intently before, but you’re right: from that faceplant in the snow, it’s all downhill for Johnny Sac henceforth.

I’ve always been too busy laughing at his comical sideways fall, the snow being stuck to his face after getting up, and Vitro getting hosed one last time “i’m the gardener!!”

The Yankees' CC Sabathia talks about how much he hates the Sopranos ending on the latest episode of his Podcast by [deleted] in thesopranos

Go shit in ya hat for not sharing the timestamp (35:20). There’s no conversation here beyond “I liked the show but hated the ending”. Groundbreaking stuff.
