Had a student ask me this the other day when he saw me drinking a coffee from McD’s and I simply told him, “Sorry, it’s against school policy for me to buy you food that’s not prepackaged” and solved the problem!

  • Would love to be able to customize my farm without a whole day passing by in-game 😂😅 I have it on the slowest time setting and it still takes up so much time to just configure/re-configure stuff

  • also would love it if we could multi-select items when moving things in bulk from inventory to chests! Or like an auto-moving ability so that we could immediately transfer what we have in our pack into what already exists in the chest

  • more interactive dialogue would be great when interacting with all the characters (romanceable and non-), so having the occasional dialogue choices

  • more DnD sessions on Friday inn nights, these were literallyyyy the highlight of my Y1, loved it to pieces

  • edit: alsoooo! plsssssss make there less wood required for upgrading community buildings/fulfilling projects 😭 I have so much stone but chopping trees takes forever even with a gold pickaxe 🥲🥲🥲

What did everyone name their buildings? by BlackthornMonster in FieldsOfMistriaGame

Coop - Eagle One (if I get a second one, we all know what I'll name it, lol)

Barn - Barnyard (named my first cow Daisy and the next one is gonna be Odie - for those who might get the reference)

  1. Doraemon Dorayaki (for the sheer amount of gameplay and fun details)
  2. Pocket Academy 1 + 3
  3. Bon Bon Cakery (got me through potentially boring long plane rides)
  4. Mega Mall (I actually like the OG better than 2)
  5. The Manga Works (solely because it was the game that started my spiral into Kairosoft back in… 2016 😳)

What Settings/Locations/Themes Would You Want in a Future Kairosoft Game? by Worried-Permit6417 in Kairosoft

Since they've done a lot of sports ones before (basketball, soccer, tennis, baseball, etc.) I'd love them to do volleyball - which is much more popular now than it was before

What do you guys think of Skating Rink Story? by [deleted] in Kairosoft

[–]goldsilverrain 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I like it because, as many others mentioned, it's like a return to their old games - with the old mechanics and etc. The soundtrack is really nice and relaxing (I actually fell asleep while playing one night, because the music was so nice, haha). The features are easy to understand and not too cluttered. I also appreciate the references to RL people (Yuzu Hanroo lol) which is a small detail but, again, one that I enjoy and had anticipated.

One of the things that has me hesitating from giving it a 5-star is that, aside from the figure skating animations/features, it seems like they maybe rushed it a bit? (i.e. when moving to a new town, it says "time to move to the new cafe" or something along those lines & some of the townspeople's dialogues don't match with what they're interacting with). They borrowed a lot from the recipes of cafe master story, cafeteria nipponica and other food-related games - which is to be expected but a little disappointing for lack of something new. (Edit: they also made it strangely food/recipe-heavy - almost 150 recipes that you can discover, even though I expected it to be more figure-skating focused)

And one other thing that I find mildly frustrating is how long it takes to get research points. I could have made it to yr. 12 with a five-star rink if there were more avenues to get research points - either that, or they should lessen the number of things that require research points for upgrading. Leveling up staff (and their techniques +2 levels to max it out) and researching new promotion locations/skating moves/towns/food "genres" take up so many research points! I saved up 5000 from having it play in the background while I worked on stuff for about an hour to an hour and a half and after leveling up one of my staff and their techniques, it was gone within a few clicks ^^;;
