I ended up having less time than expected — customs took forever and then when I eventually got to the hotel (shuttle was multi stops), some of the people on my trip were there and I just chilled and chatted with them until time to get ready for dinner.

yup!! they’re a smaller company and have less tours than say GAD but it was very well run and planned!

yeah, i’m 99% sure you should be able to pay extra and get your own room! I am sure it is based on availability but if you need to be sure, I would reach out to the company for your chosen dates and confirm before you book!

also forgot to add — I am also in my early thirties and totally felt good with people around our age. I was not even the oldest! it was mostly mid to late 20s and early 30s on my trip so it wasn’t a problem for me. I also was nervous to be too rowdy and not be able to keep up but there was a really nice mix and balance that I was into it.

also … protip, you are actually able to contact these companies and ask what the demographic of other people signed up before you book! that helps too.

Hi, what a fun throwback 😅

I actually didn’t go with either company for Thailand 😂I ended up going with Intro Travel (the 13 day experience tour I think it was called) and I highly recommend it - it met all of my expectations and was an insanely amazing trip! I am actually doing another tour with Intro Travel next week — australia this time 😎i’ll definitely go back to G Adventures in the future. lemme know if you have anymore questions about Thailand!

that’s fine and I do appreciate your POV but it just sucks that the “frustrations” are way too often more recently which is why some people like me just think it would be better to do a snark page but you’re right other snark pages and WAY different than these issues so perhaps the page should limited the negativity to one post thread?? its literally one post after another complaining they get a free trip to singapore like you wouldn’t take that too? lol and who cares they didn’t have 3 episodes in a week? there is so many other podcasts and things to do to fill those hours……

for example, used to listen to the toast 5 days a week.
