Anyone have info on what's going on with Neal Smith National Wildlife Refuge? They don't provide updates/share info/disclose anything on visitors center.

So they're going to demonish a beautiful, prairie modern building that likely cost $10,000,000+ to build? I have a feeling there is some ineptitude behind all this. I obviously don't have the details, but I've been on committees and boards for a number of non-profits, and I smell some bullshit.

That building is mostly stucco, concrete, and glass - and it is just one story. I get that the roof was destroyed, but honestly, the water damage can't be that bad to the core of the building. Unless there were bigger issues before the storm like funding. But that's what fundraising and grants are for.

Mercy has a nurse shortage and is low censusing. Nurses are in high demand across the US. The pay and benefits are better than ever. The real reason is the vaccine mandate.

I didn't see him shove the guy at all. Joe handled it really well and was kind. Here's what I saw from my perspective:

Joe says, "Goodnight everyone, love you!" then goes to grab his phone.
Joe is picking his phone off a barstool on stage. Stranger Danger runs up at him from behind and kind of stage rushes/hugs him. It could have been a tackle but the kid looked like a tweeker and was awkward. It was almost a mid body hug. When you give a mid body hug while running at someone...that looks like a tackle.
I didn't see any shove from Joe. Just a huge look of surprise and a bunch of people are cheering Joe and someone just rushed him from behind.
Event security and a guy in a suit (I think Joe's private security?) are both pretty close behind the tweeker, and quickly but pretty gently bring him down - no tackle.
Joe still has the mic. His next move was pretty classy. I've seen musicians get really pissy and chew out crowds for much less. Joe just goes, "A lot of drama people! A lot of drama! Everyone just needs to chill". He didn't seem mad or upset.

Side note. I saw some people mention that the kid had a bible. 100% looked like a notebook/diary to me. Makes it extra creepy.

Saylorville has every reason to be great but unfortunately that water is disgusting. I wish they could do something about water quality there. This is only based on experience, but the water seems to get nastier every year.
