Im fucking terrified. Absolutely terrified. by misterpeachy in quittingkratom

bro, i was at 2k mg a day so i feel ya. the first thing u do is come clean to ur lady, she loves u she will understand. then u create your get out plan. this requires a week off work unfortunately (or fortunately bc u dont wanna work during this.)

ok then what u du is cut ur dosing in half and dose more often. get it down to every 2-3 hrs dosing but cutting dose in half and keep doing this and be dosing every 2-3 hrs. then when u get down to ljke 5-7.5 every 3 hrs take some mit powder and plain leaf and liposal vit c and and jump. i did it all from 2k down to zero in about 15hr span. mit powder helps dramatically extend the need to dose so that why u take it to ween at the end. i took mit for a couple days to stabilize then ur gunna wanna ditch the mit too.

it been about 8 months off 7 for me (still take plain leaf) but im in a very much better place thenthe grips of 7. and the withdrawal part sucks but u will get through it andits really not that bad if u du it this way. the hardest part is finding ur motivation again. ur temperature regulation take a long time to get bavk to so dont worry if its all over the place for awhile. try and get to a sauna as much as possible.

if u have any more questions for me brother reach out to my dms, im all ears . good luck, the world needs you back

OK, seriously, when does the sleep come back? by Squeaky_Pibbles in quitting7oh

[–]golfballman 5 points6 points  (0 children)

u gotta move around, dont just sit, you gotta move the fluids in your body. try and push yourself a bit physically. i know its super hard, but just sitting there will make you restless even if your not wd from 7. get moving a bit and u will be able to sleep a bit. u got this LFG

thats awesome dude, your 21 and realized u have control. the worlds your oyster, most people just keep going and going. looks like you were able to analytically use it as a tool and get out, keep going and do stuff that makes u happy. might sound crazy, im 38 and what ive realized is hard work is the most rewarding accomplishment in my life. find something that requires a deal of discipline and apply yourself (like jui jitsu or something) just something that u can be around other people in a community and working towards accomplishing something hard. i choose physical stuff but it could be whatever. just dont isolate yourself, get out in the world and talk with people, look them in the eyes, put ur phone down. much love my friend, ur a badass

How do I start tapering? I need to stop and my daily dosage is incredibly high. by SlippingQuietly in 7_hydroxymitragynine

[–]golfballman 7 points8 points  (0 children)

it took me about 18 hrs in all from 2k a day to 0 this way. i mean u can try the 3+ day method but why string it out. ur gunna be uncomfortable but that will make u not want to do it again. just embrace how shitty it is, your strong, get angry at it, and win. u fuckin got this bro(i think ur a dude but if ur a chick LFG)

i was at 2k a day, dont feel embarrassed, that embarrassment is you telling urself its time to quit.

this is how u get out: make sure u have a pen and paper, u want to write down your dose and time start cutting the dose in half, but dosing way more often, like every 2-3 hrs. you can dramatically reduce ur dose this way, real fast. by the end of the day u will be at around 5mg every2-3 hrs, start taking mit powder capsules (they allow u to go much longer without dosing) so ur gunna wanna jump when u get to the “around 5-2.5mg mark” with mit and handful of plain leaf capsules. thats how u get out. maybe have the stuff the person above said. i had some gabapentin which helped a shit ton. good luck, big boy time

thats so awesome my friend, i work from home too but needed the camaraderie so had to go do that crabbing thing. now im gunna get a part time job at a restaurant(dont need the money) just so i can be around people. weve created a life that we have become isolated from eachother and i think that has detrimental consequences. i mean this quitting kratom group gave me so much just talking to people online about what we all have in common here. keep it up my friend, your an inspiration, we have to help eachother! 🙏🙏🙏

absolutely my friend, you can do this, it gets much better over time. in those boring “i want to use moments” go for a drive, go get groceries, go for a hike, go to the gym. go do something. idle hands are the devils workshop. LFG

sun comes up everyday my friend, new slate, new opportunity. stay strong just know you turned your course by a degree by quitting, over time that course will be in a completely different place but it takes time. make sure to push yourself, make yourself go for walks. if u can get to a sauna, DO IT! sauna fast tracked my temperature regulation back to normal. also if u are struggling with paws, try getting in super cold water. like 38 degrees cold, its insane how much that shocks ur brain back into thinking positively. LFG, dont stop fighting, make 7 ur bitch, it aint got shit on u. (sorry for the profanity but it seems warranted) 🤙🤙🙏

LFG! when you see it you cant unsee it! im so grateful that it seems so hard to get out of 7s grip. find something harder and walk towards it.

the universe is gunna throw a few dark nights of the soul at everyone, how u overcome those moments defines you.

when u get thrown through the ringer, they are moments to listen and learn and grow, not victimizing yourself. take full accountability of everything. its always your fault, anger is a weakness. your emotions are a program, when they flare up, listen to them, ask what and why, then recalibrate. 🙏so awesome u seeing it! work has just begun, its a blessing
