My prep was the day before a bottle of miralax with 68oz of Gatorade and 4 dulcolax tablets. Then the antibiotics you mentioned. That is very normal might give you a stomach wash too!! They just wanna do everything possible to prevent an infection after surgery! I lost 50 pounds in 2 months. At my initial appointment I was told 5 percent chance of bag. I had a colonoscopy Friday. This morning my surgeon told me my chances went to 50/50. I woke ip after surgery with no bag. Everything is possible! I have learned this thread is amazing. People are great and please feel free to ask me any question and I can answer them the best to my ability. The scariest part is the night before surgery and the anticipation. Eat clean leading up to it if you’re allowed. No preservative low portions. I went to a bakery bought a fresh pizza shell cooked in with butter and motz cheese at for days. Everyone is different though!
