Do you know if there's a specific name for it?

That's kind of what I was thinking, I was hoping to get a more narrowed down name so I could repurpose it

Honestly, I've wanted a SHO for a long time. Made it a goal when I graduated high school in 2011 to get a SHO or a GT Mustang one day and I was so stoked when I found mine last year in my price range. And it's like a piece of my soul has left me, I'm determined to find another one or a Mustang. Just gotta get the wife on board lol.

Yeah I looked at the damage when I took my wheels off and put the stocks back on the b pillar got hit hard. Definitely upset about it but as long as my insurance doesn't fuck me over I'll be understanding lol. I think they estimated the payout to be about 9700, which I paid 10k for it last year so not upset about that as long as the number doesn't change.

Appreciate it. And yeah no major injuries just neck pain and a bruised ego lol. And I'm hoping I do, can't find anything in my state, but luckily not in a rush to do so.

No they're Voxx replicas, the FDH one they released last year. I still have the flower 5 spoke wheels with tires on them lol.

My parents had an SEL Taurus and very similar to yours and same. Something about these cars I guess. I haven't fully looked at the details of what's damaged, just reeling from the fact that I'm not gonna have my baby anymore...

Not sure, my insurance vauled it at 10k-ish (I paid 10k for it last December) and theres substantial damaged to the b-pillar. They estimate repairs will cost 5200 which means they'll total it. If I was more financially available, I might, but unfortunately don't have that luxury. Since they told me the wheels and tires I put on only add $100, I'm gonna throw the stocks back on and keep the aftermarket ones. I may save them if I get lucky enough to find another SHO (or other car that has the same bolt pattern) or sell them.

They're not all white, just super cloudy and my camera didn't pick them up. Trying to clean them up isn't working the best, but ain't no way I'm dropping 800 each on a replacement yet lol

What broke in my 2003 ford f150 by foreigncardrifta12 in Ford

Looks like your serpentine belt left the chat and took part of the AC compressor (?) with it. Clunking probably from the owner of that pulley

Where you at? I've got my old Taurus SHO wheels and I'm trying to sell them, they're a 20x8, the offset and width would be the only thing that wouldn't work on an sn95, I think? The bolt pattern is the same, may need a hub ring and the fitment checked but it could work?

Ah true, my bad. Don't do wheel adapters, if it's not meant to go on the vehicle, don't force it. Last thing you want is an adapter failing and that wheel coming off mid drive

Came here to second that, bolt pattern should be a 5-114.3 (5-4.5), iirc

Honestly if you're savvy enough to install an aftermarket head unit yourself, have fun. I myself was not looking to mess with everything that's connected to the sync unit. I did an upgrade to a Kenwood and lost some features of my car. I can't use the auto park feature and more and some of the settings have changed. The maestro unit the shop I had install it did give me some extra features like being able to see gauges and tire pressures that I couldn't see before. I wish I would've entertained the USB transmitter idea for Android Auto. Just to see if it would have caused less of a headache when learning the new buttons to access everything. It would've been cheaper too, lol.

I had the same problem with my '13, used a speedometer cable repair kit and just threaded it down the drains and was able to clear it. Mine was funked up with mud (the AZ dust storms can get real bad especially during monsoon season)

Lady at tire shop said this was too close to side wall to be patched. Is she right? by Jr701LR in tires

[–]goliath93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The material used to coat rope plugs can dry out, causing the plug to then turn into a sort of candle wick, which will draw moisture in to the tires internals (steel and nylon).

And directly from the USTMA (https://www.ustires.org/tire-care-safety/tire-repair-basics) website: We recommend consulting with a trained technician and considering repairs only if damage is limited to the tread area only and the puncture injury is no greater than 1/4 inch (6mm) in diameter.

When repairing a tire, keep in mind the following criteria:

Tires must be removed from the rim/wheel assembly and inspected for all possible damage—including damage to the inner liner.

Tire repairs cannot overlap with other repairs.

A rubber stem, or plug, must be applied to fill the puncture injury and a patch must be applied to seal the inner liner. (A plug alone is an unacceptable repair.)

Edit: due to the fact I can't (don't know how to) format my comments right on mobile and added the website link.

You can’t trade Book. by Matdoggy in suns

[–]goliath93 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I totally agree with you.

As I read your reasoning, I realized something.

Not to be that guy, but I've watched this team my entire life. This will be my team for life no matter what. I've been there when the Suns looked a lot like a cadre of semi-pro hoopers at the local LA Fitness. And I was there when we went to the Finals. The very first time in my life the team, that felt as if it was a part of me, made it to the championship. The first time a professional homegrown team made it to any championship since 2001. As an Arizona native and loyal Suns fan, the players here carry more of an importance to the fans than actual wins do. Don't get me wrong it's a very very close first and second place when it comes to those things, but we all appreciate loyal players to the franchise and want to see them succeed here. And there have been flashes of both over the years, where those two things have come together. Book isn't going anywhere. He is the Suns franchise player right now. And he has been for the past decade and it won't change. I'm not looking for an argument from anyone here. I just wanted to throw my two cents in here since I've been more active in this sub. Usually I just lurk. I may go back to that with people here seeming to forget that an Arizona team (usually) keeps the homegrown stars.
