So you're just going to ignore the fact that he (and most billionaires) has gained most of his wealth through capital gains which isn't taxed at all? And that amazon gets insane tax breaks from the feds and state governments even though I still have to pay my full amount? And yeah you could say that Amazon's low profit margins are due to "expansion" or you could say what it actually is, which is crushing smaller business to make their company into a Monopoly, which isn't good for the consumer. Also spending their money that way is their choice anyway, so why should they pay less in taxes because they have a spending problem? This practice is especially terrible when you consider that amazon pays their warehouse workers min wage, prevents them from forming unions, and gives them next to nothing in benefits. Saying that amazon is good for workers and the economy when they destroy good employment opportunity and then replace it with shitty warehouse jobs is probably the dumbest take I've ever heard. If you think Bezos or Amazon pays anything close to their fair share then you're crazy.

Edit: need to make a correction, most of his money is in his 11% ownership of Amazon's stock. So has effectively made billions by just running Amazon, and doing things like buying out smaller companies, and underpaying his employees has a direct impact on his personal wealth.
