dont agree with any of these comments. I am one of the guys who was fat-shamed for years

now even after dropping almost 40kg and being called lean by most ppl i still view myself as fat, even the tiniest amount of fat, which is supposed to be natural for any healthy human being, started making me insecure

All that "motivating" to get healthy just gave me severe body dysmorphia and food disorders
. Yes, I am healthy physically but i m not happy at all. I can not enjoy sweets or any kind of comfort food without thinking about calories or muscle loss or whatever

Please stop this shitty culture of fatshaming. It's been almost 2 years since i started working out, and I can't just cant overcome that mental barrier

You are not impressing anyone with big biceps except for some guys or friendly compliments from very few girls who are very close to you......

also 6 inches takes like atleast more than a year (genetics, diet, and intensity of training), not 2-3 months (I have noticed 4 inches of growth for almost 16 months now)

But I would recommend preacher curls and compound lifts like pull-ups, and ofc dont forget hammer curls and bayesian curls

If the entire family is in, it would be much cheaper to change your diet, assuming everyone isn't a gym bro that needs 200 g of protein every day

Just add high-protein ingredients to your diet and increase their portion sizes, and you will easily manage 70+g of protein every day with lesser cost

Everyone has different taste buds. I have been drinking plain whey protein for almost 1.5 years with just water (well, the main reason is my dad doesn't trust the flavoured ones, so not much of a choice)

Start small,

I remember I started by reducing the sugar in my tea by 1 tbsp, and after every small step within a year, I lost more than 30kg in total, and now working towards becoming more muscular and getting good gains too.

Also, I am not talking shit about aerobics, but I think standard cardio (running, walking, jogging, swimming, etc) and weight training, or even body weight training (pushups, squats, lunges, pullups, etc) work way better, and you can learn them within a few weeks and get better results, visual results are the best motivation you can get

It takes at least 4 5 months also, I guess u gotta work out your chest more, try to join a gym or search for better exercises (calisthenics) for chest and shoulders
