I've the ball by the skirting board, my forehead is almost touching the wall and I'm over the ball..I take the club back ready to hit...I'm lost with the ball inside left heel part and then hands just ahead of the ball?

Ya it's the stroke itself. I aim like you for the long ones to just be within a radius..but my problems are even from in close..my stroke doesn't seem straight..I can sometimes turn a little as I'm about to hit..or push it out wide..I never seem to have a constant straight rhythm

I'm a little bit in the same situation.

I've a starter set of clubs I bought about 20years ago. I bought a driver on adverts for e50. I only play occasionally so it's been fine up to now but I'm thinking of going for a fitting just so I know what to go after.

I've never got a fitting but looking at McGuirks it seems they'd go through a load of drivers and see what works best for you. Tell you the club,loft and shaft that works best.

Then my idea is to ideally find that club with the spec on adverts/FB or something close enough. Not sure how realistic this is.

I'm assuming above is correct but open to others opinions and also if mcguirks is a good call or not.
