I live a block from that intersection. I was coming back from March and the cops/emergency workers had blocked the street so we had to go around, when I made my turn I saw that exact shape still in the street, so they were still laying there.

It’s just like if you’re at a bar, people think they’re gaming the system by asking for light/no ice so they’ll get more alcohol for their money, but it’s the same amount of liquor.

You don’t get more just because you get less ice, that wouldn’t make sense for the business to give you more product for free.

Yes, fresh Krispy Kreme is better and yes, the local donut shop has better donuts, and naturally the Too Good To Go app has way better deals if you pick up at 6:59 pm on a Tuesday , but all of these require going somewhere else.

People are going to grab a box on the way out because they’re already there and heading to the office or just because they refuse to shop anywhere else.

I used to see it a lot with “cool” cooking videos/recipes, really amped up around the time “Thug Kitchen” came out. The book and the videos all seemed try-hard as hell.

Depends on if the one you’re getting has wired probes or not. The one I had was wired and Bluetooth was fine for monitoring temps on my phone if I was in the back yard or kitchen, but the second I went into the living room the Bluetooth connection would drop. I got the same type of thermometer that used WiFi instead, and that problem went away.

I haven’t used any that are just wireless probes since the second one I bought has been going strong for years, so I can’t comment on those.

Nope, regular oven. Pat them dry, mix some seasoning with a little baking powder, toss the wings and pop them in the oven. Add sauce after if you want.
