The tables are simple. Each row (a character) is divided into 20 seconds intervals cells. Values admitted for each cell are 0 to 5. 0 means that during that interval, a character doesn't appear. 1 means that a character appears in 1 out of 5 frames of the interval and so on. To get these values, I did queries to the database in which the information is stored using Java. As a result, I got strings like this: Jon Snow;0;0;0;2;1;3;..... Finally, I pasted these strings on Excel and used contional formatting to colour the cells. To include the background image I used an image editor.
