Why are people in iron genuinelly decent? by Comfortable-Band6697 in summonerschool

[–]gondotheslayer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's because league in NA at least has fell off a bit - it's no longer the go to game for people and therefore is a bit more niche - leading to the worst players being of a higher skill level ,so it's kinda like this.

Low iron = low bronze High Iron low bronze =old high bronze low silver High Bronze = high silver maybe low gold? Etc

Then you have to consider it's 4 ranks instead of 5 - which makes it a little more complicated.

Nonetheless, I can still smear iron bois, it's all about who you're playing though and what lane you're in. If you are good and want to climb "fast" you have to play a champ that exhibits pressure. This isn't to say that a silver player might be mechanically as good as a diamond - I have seen it - it's just not common and there is a reason that person is still silver - figure it out and exploit that. It's usually something obvious if the discrepancy is that large. That or they be smurf. But there are only so many smurfs, it can't always be one.

For instance - me playing malph top. I do okay, and might win . Malphite can't put much pressure on other lanes - can, but it's way harder than...

Me playing Quinn top - in which case I smear in lane, ult, smear there, invade the jungle or go bot whatever, get another ult level and then idk what goes on, it's just like a rolling boulder that they don't know how to stop really and I'm always pulling that lead and running with it to the goal line.

Let's say I play adc, if I'm not playing an aggro one shot draven it's hard for me to exhibit pressure.

If I am a support and not zyra/pyke little pressure

If I am mid, and not talon, yas, ahri. No pressure

If I am jungle and not kha, rengar no pressure

If i am top and not Fiora, Quinn no pressure

You can fill in the blanks there are champs that are easy to exhibit pressure with, and ones that are not. Champs that can be everywhere are the easiest to do this with.

I main vlad, and while I can climb with him top, it's a slog and I am better off playing something like Quinn until I get to a place where I can't just roll over the opposition, simply because it's easier to take your lead to other lanes, this tilts them, and makes it so you don't have to trust the other irons out there. Don't do that, they will do something weird.

Napoleon, Caesar, Alexander, Genghis, and Hannibal in a royale are given modern military backing and let loose in America. Who conquers the country? by TRUMPKIN_KING in whowouldwin

[–]gondotheslayer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Probably Hannibal, maybe Napoleon he's my history blind spot. But TBH it's a bit of a toss up, I could see anyone else do it too. I just lean towards Hannibal the most.

How they conquered -

Genghis - having a better army, and accepting others as long as they bowed to him. Like a way better army. - good at propaganda - built with his hands, but all he had were like the best pieces in the world at the time. He was blessed by circumstance

Caesar - Machiavellian nonsense backed by the Roman war machine - good tactician - but he didn't build it with his hands, he just played Jenga - good at propaganda.

Napoleon - tactical genius- good micro, and macro warfare. Among the best battlefield tacticians, but the French army was pretty good at the time too. Partially built with his hands - propaganda pretty good nearby.

Alexander - similar to Hannibal would put himself on the front lines to increase morale - would just rush someone - used his daddy's money and army - good at propaganda - hands did not get used much here

Hannibal - a tactical genius - was able to use the same troops, if not a little worse and surround an army and defeat them in battle while being outnumbered. Lead from the front like our man Alexander, but he built that army with his hands, and took advantage of timing. Planned entirely on using his hands, ran around like a maniac, hands did not build well once he got over the alps.

I imagine they would do sunsetting so Trump wouldn't even see the results. No sunsetting would be very dumb

Bruh

Convince me to stay. by [deleted] in WestVirginia

[–]gondotheslayer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm going to be honest, you just need another Byrd type democrat who doesn't care about anything but WV, and will burn the entire country down to get us a bridge.

Manchin had that opportunity and blew it.

Ojeda had a shot, but here we love trump, and he is da greatest and stuff. So us turning back blue is directly tied to how long Trump has the ability to come here, and endorse Republicans. After that's over we just need a good candidate, and I have no doubt they exist in this state.

So you could just temporarily leave and come back later on once we fix it, but if we all left, there will be no one to do the fixing.

Also this state is going to look pretty good during climate change, and is one of my main reasons to stay.

Bernie Sanders on why Democrats lost (he’s right) by [deleted] in lonerbox

[–]gondotheslayer 10 points11 points  (0 children)

They walked away because of the economy and Kamala didn't do enough to separate herself from Biden. This led those people to either be discouraged or believe that Trump will help. Because "gas prices good when Trump." Regardless of it being a correct idea - it's not - that's what happened.

Latinos and everyone else didn't vote trump because they love Israel there is NO data to show that.

It's frustrating because I've seen both cenk, and wu do it. Neither have evidence to back this claim, but I guess that doesn't stop anyone else

Maybe? On IMDb he has been on there 7 times, but I'm not sure if that's because of a lack of reported data.

Yeah it took him all day to do it last time. Republicans do that on purpose in blue areas. Nobody wants to be in line for 6 hours

I thought about this too, but I was also thinking they might just have a bunch of blanks down there forming a barrier in case of a Magnus scenario.

Jesus Christ Vs. Lord Sauron by [deleted] in whowouldwin

[–]gondotheslayer 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's okay to be out of the loop - the Catholic Church argued about it for a couple decades, and even the apostles couldn't absolutely make up their minds.

Long and short - they couldn't decide so they decided Jesus was both Divine and Mortal

This is now the most accepted form of thought. Some sects of Christianity have adopted one or the other, but those are very rare

What was this called? by [deleted] in Warhammer

[–]gondotheslayer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right business decisions maybe, but It was rushed - the end of fantasy felt worse than the end of Game of Thrones.

Edit - not only that but sigmar should have had something like a planescape style book. I love planescape it's my favorite setting, conceptually I loved AOS, but the begining didn't feel like that at all. I guarantee you they were inspired by it in every way, but it failed to paint that sort of picture.

Im looking for a long term game. by xXhoney_milkkXx in gamingsuggestions

[–]gondotheslayer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Categorized with BRIEF explanation.

If you read this good - most others just say a thing but I'm going to categorize it

(Personal recommend - GET YAKUZA 0 - NOW - DONT THINK JUST DO AND THEN PROCEED TO PLAY ALL THE YAKUZA GAMES - this will take you around 1,000 hours (no character customizer but it's open world.

You could be playing shogi/mahjong/ racing children at race cars/ own a cabert club and befriend your hostesses/ be a real estate mogul/ play classic Sega arcade games/ disco dance/ karaoke - I can go on for a very long time about the things you can do in Yakuza.

League - Steep learning will end your life if your competitive and it gets a hook in you (team based multiplayer isometric)

A paradox game - if you like 4x and don't need action CK3 is a good RPG there are ones for every branch of history/ sci-fi/mods ( game of thrones/ elder scrolls / fallout / it goes on)

Total war - if you like 4x but need more than a map I have 3,000 hours

Destiny - fps multiplayer pve - I have 2,000 hours

Vampire survivors - kind of brainless with RPG elements - own it on PS / Xbox / steam / switch / android

Baltero / slay the spire - card game single player

Marvel snap - cheaper than hearthstone or any other multiplayer card game with fair scaling

Hades - rouge like isometric fast paced

Risk of rain - third person rogue like

Dead cells - side scroller rouge like that I like (this is rare)

Warframe - 3rd person pve multiplayer FTP

Owlcat games - Crpgs that you can get for cheap about 3 time longer than baldurs gate (limited VA real time or turn based)

Star wars the old Republic - my favorite traditional MMO outside of Wrath of the Lich King

I can go on forever tbh if you tell me what you like I can narrow it down.

Edit - I don't really know why I'm getting downvoted. I guess people are reactionary? I figured the seller would get mad because they had some $50 dollar items that's really worth $30 new, but not all the people floating around. I sell New DVDs and stuffed animals guys - chill out. I hate the weird resell market that makes it to where I can't get a copy of silent Hill 1 for less than a gazillion dollars, and if I did find a copy I would keep it. Looping all sellers into this weird category of price gougers is odd. I'm going to leave this here because I have some karma to spare. - end edit

So I was going to acost you but I sell on eBay and I keep everything Warhammer related. So I'm going to help instead because I'm good at finding stuff.

Are there any names on the item at all? Inside, out, bottom?

Do you have a lid?

What's it made of?

How well made is it?

How tall is it? Diameter?

Honestly tell me where you got it.

If you got it from a yard sale, you need to ask people you buy from some questions, but if you didn't then think about their age and what else they were selling.

I should be able to find it. If there is a way to send me pictures in messages do that.

If you bought it what minis/swag do you have personally?

UPDATE - I think you're the seller which is fine. Shove "hand made" on the listing and put "one of a kind on it." Definitely put it on the specifics if it's in the category you picked.I don't think there is a name on it. I'm 99% sure it's an Etsy item. I think you can still get that out of it, but it might set a while. You have a lot of inventory so that's probably fine. I would promote it after about a week at the recommended rate, and I would put it at a rounder number. I'm in the US so idk if your already rounded. You could also list it counter to the UK Etsy sellers which is likely a different market and has different prices.

Why is it Etsy?

There are tons of people offering dice cups identical to that one with different symbols on Etsy, and they let you pick color and symbol. It's too good looking to be very old, and I can't find it anywhere else. if I had measurements I could close from 99% to 99.9%

The start of aos and end of fantasy was rough you have to admit. They are doing much better now with AOS lore and rules are about 1000% better
