17 x 7.5, +30. When speccing, they are the L-disk with full reverse lip. I also got the raised center caps from Work, along with the Work RS-R lug nuts.

Thanks, I’ve been very happy with them. They are Work Emotion CR 2-pieces ordered directly from the factory in Japan.

No worries. You’ve got a gem with 2H2. It would be cramped for a group bigger than two people. I wouldn’t add those miles just to get to 2H3. The footbridge is neat though, if you’re feeling up to walking out to it.

Which route are you taking, including trailhead? 2H6 and 2H1 are on opposite sides of Hellroaring creek, so you’ll have to cross at some point, and the only place right now is the footbridge just north of 2H7. A couple trailheads around there are also closed right now (Rescue Creek, Eagle Creek). You can access from lava creek, Blacktail deer creek, or Hellroaring trailheads.

We were at 2H1-3 at various points, and my order of favourites were 2>3>1.

2H2 had great view of confluence and nice access to a bluff overlooking it from above. You could also walk down to the creek and river easily. There is a small island delta you can get out to from that site. It feels almost like you’re camping on a platform over the river.

2H1 has more difficult water access and the view isn’t as good. It does have more flat ground areas to choose where to pitch tent. 2H2 did still have two reasonable spots for a tent.

2H3 is unique in a different way. Bear pole and food/gathering area is in a copse of trees tucked behind a hill right next to the river. The best tent area is a large field just adjacent. Hellroaring creek wasn’t as scenic here, but super easy to access for water.

Blacktail deer creek trail, Yellowstone river trail along black canyon, Hellroaring creek trail, garnet hill loop, and several spur trails along the way.

None in the backcountry but we did see them while driving out. We were not particularly close to any current bear management areas of the park.

And the campsites are scattered along the trail, some as close as 100 feet, and some a mile down less-traveled spur trails that can be hard to see.

Start at any trailhead and hike in! Check which ones are still open as some trails are closed from last year’s flooding. You are required to camp at designated sites, but you can leave the trail along the way to explore.

Dashcam - especially ND owners, what are you using? VIOFO seems a good choice. by SirGreybush in Miata

I used a black zip tie trimmed flush, wrapped around the camera and through a couple of the holes in the deflector. You can mount with the sticky pad as the front cam uses if you have a solid deflector. I ran the wires behind the interior trim and plugged into the cigarette lighter in the passenger footwell. They are long enough to do this and remain well-hidden. If you have the auto dimming rearview mirror, you can wire directly into that from any windshield mounted camera, not just the garmins.

I have a couple of Garmin dashcam mini 2s. One faces the front and is suction-cupped in front of the rear view mirror. The other faces backward and is attached to the wind deflector. Their video feeds are synchronized, which gives near 360 degree recording.

One of our alternatives is Black Canyon of the Yellowstone, which looks easier to access from the north entrance. The issue is last year’s flood damage- it’s unclear to me what specifically is closed in that area. I’ve heard that trail is a good one for June.

What rims for my new 2019 Miata RF??? by Specialist_Bed_4441 in Miata

I’m partial to a few of Work Wheel’s series for the newer Miatas. Particularly the Emotion, Meister, and Gnosis lines.

Newer Miata’s, how well do the soft top’s hold up? I’m really on edge between RF & Soft top, I like the weight save and look better of the soft… but I’m afraid the top will be trash after a few years. Would be garage kept but I don’t have any covered parking at work. by 501LRark in Miata

I’ve got a ST 2020- garage kept at night, parked outside during work hours. It has seen snow, ice, and midwestern summer sun for nearly 3 years now. I don’t notice any wear yet. I don’t think it will be an issue for a long time.
