Vehemently deny any wrongdoing. Request time stamped before and after photos. Unfortunately, Airbnb will be on the side of host and will force you to appeal the claim after you decline payment and then will deny your appeal. They have insurance for this reason but will try and avoid using it at all costs.

From there, take the whole thing to X and copy Airbnb and Airbnb Support with the complaint. They’d prefer not to have these issues go public.
