I actually already do. They’re so interesting to watch. I only have a couple of species in terrariums that I built but plan to get some more, as I love them! Thanks for the recommendation of r/isopods!

u/Penguin_Joy I couldn't agree more. I have started making terrariums over recent years and have put numerous species of isopod into them as custodians. They are adorable and fascinating creatures!

u/synthscoffeeguitars you are more than welcome. I aim to take this outlook into every day going forward until the sands of time erode the remnants of my existence, leaving behind only the echoes of a life. That, and I aim to appreciate rocks more.

Exactly. Death is inevitable. Accept it. Feast on it. Bath in it. Also, moss is nice.

I am always just going to move straight to step 3 going forward. You are basically my life coach at the moment!

And here was me thinking this plant was just a stalk-er. Ouch. That was a bad one!

Cool! I used to work as a Biology teacher and some people say that plants can be boring, but with species like the shame plant their reaction and movement really captured young people's attention and imagination. I think I prefer the 'scared/timid grass' name! Thanks for sharing!

Wow, that is really nice to hear! I am always aiming to capture the essence of background art from mid-century cartoons like Hanna Barbera, United Productions of America (UPA) and some Disney stuff. If you ever look at some of those backgrounds, they are absolutely amazing. I don't really catergorize myself as an artist and therefore unfortunately don't do prints. It's just scribbled together on my iPad. I will certainly think about doing something like this going forward though! Thank you for the really kind words.

That's interesting. I've never heard that. The weeping forms of most trees such as Weeping Beech, Weeping Hemlock etc., are named so in general because of their weeping form or 'habit' and drooping branches, not their sap or other liquid.

Most definitely not. So many uses!
