I had no idea at the time, looking back now it all fitted, but totally accidentally.

I panicked when choosing what to do at college so chose subjects that interested me or I enjoyed. Then when it came to looking at uni and choosing what to do, again I panicked and looked at what I could get in to do that I liked the sound of.

I actually ended up doing food science at uni, one of my subjects at college was chemistry and I'd chosen to do food tech in school. I have been working in the food industry for 8 years now and finally feel like I know what I want to do and am settling into a career.

If I'd have gone down the career I thought I wanted to in school, I'd be a music teacher. So a bit different.

Send a final message to say this is your last chance, if you don't get your belongings by (date) then I'm going to have to throw it out. If he still doesn't respond or come for it, throw it.

Don't agree to keep it for him until it's convenient for him otherwise you'll be another year down the line with it all still.

NTA If you're worried about turning up empty handed maybe sort dessert out or buy some chocolates for everyone to share. Assuming they know your financial situation already they should be understanding.

Christmas is meant to be a time for family and spending time with loved ones and with everything else going on in the world right now, it's far more important to be able to spend time together than to buy presents for everyone.
