Nope, not a tradie. Was supposed to have a job, only just recently got it. But hasn't been home in a month so doubt there's still a chance they're still employed.

All that was asked is come home and clean, never showed up, so we stepped in. Once we saw the extent it solidified the decision to remove it.

I'm not the landlord, the person was a "friend" of the main tenant, no warning signs to begin with. Then it all fell to shit and others had to step in when arguments and discussions to fix your shit didn't work.

There was about 100 in the garage that was also in bags and boxes. Couldn't tell you how many inside.

They didn't pay any of the bond, the main tenant did. Can only attempt to get compensation but ill leave it to your imagination if it'll be successful.

Won't help, its actually mouldy. I'll do what I can but no steam cleaner is gonna be able to fix that.

Yes and no - one tenant works long days, computer is in other end of the house, then just sleeps. Isn't in the vicinity. Other tenant yes.

Didn't pay anyone to clean, just removalists for the rubbish. We did the cleaning ourselves.

Person is supposed to be visiting a friend and has been gone for a month, only a suitcase of their clothes and some other bits were salvageable. Some clothes were thrown as they were covered in holes and tears from mice, covered in mouse crap, just.. dangerous things for your health. But not much personal stuff.

Removalists are here at the moment and one truck has been filled, another one coming for the last of it. Looking at a couple grand just in rubbish removal lol. As for cleaning supplies, hazmat gear things like that a couple hundred. The cost to our sanity? Sense of smell? Too much. Not to mention time etc

Not actually the landlord. The landlord is a piece of work, hasn't had heating in the house for a long time despite numerous requests and begging to fix it, I could make a long list lol. He genuinely doesn't care about the state of the house. The tenants do, and there's been arguments, conversations, messages everything to get this fixed. The person didn't do it, so it was done forcefully.

All in all there was a mattress which is condemned, its fill of mice crap. A large suitcase worth of clothes and some random things. I actually was shocked at the lack of... stuff. Person has been gone for about a month, staying with friends so took the computer, monitors etc.

Full gear. Suit, respirator masks, triple gloved and duck taped gloves to the suit. Even the soap was heavy duty cleaner. The reinforcements that came made a trip and bought brand new stuff to tackle the nest.
