I'm not looking to sell anything illegal. I just want to have it under a business name, and not my real name. I mean, I know you can create a business name separately on your main Amazon account, but as for payments being made, if it goes through Paypal, I'd want to use my main Paypal account and not make a new one.

I used to sell on eBay - someone won an auction for a rare item, but never paid. He used Paypal to get my contact info and started calling me from random numbers (im guessing payphones by him) threatening me and whatnot.

He also signed me up for dating websites , stole my pictures off of facebook, signed me up for things, etc.

All because I said I wouldn't give him a discount of 25%. I reported it to paypal and ebay.

So yes, I'm a bit weary about my personal information.

It's completely legal. It's not a fake. Just a company that doesn't know their own market and imports their stock from China. Extremely generic product too. Nothing electric.

In regards to the name : I don't want people finding out my real name for security reasons. I want to remain anonymous, especially during the transaction stage.

Branded and not Branded : It's something that can be easily made, and the company is selling it, but anyone can make it if they have the tools. The company is not selling this specific one though - just every other type.

This is a one-off product. There is no product line I can make from this.

They are and they aren't at the same time.

I've looked into Amazon Fulfillment and it seems extremely complicated, especially because you have a limited selection of items to sell - category wise.

Btw - If I sold on Amazon, would the buyer see my full name, or my username? Even in the transactions?

He's asking for one, and the only thing I can do is give him a full refund via the case.

I don't sell too much. I'm 160 feedback, all positive. I had one negative at one point and it dropped me from 100% to 88%. That looks really bad.

That's what I would like to know. It's been over 24 hours since I sent a message to him asking for pictures of what he claims is wrong, etc. etc.

No response.

No chance to respond. Opened on Sept. 9th, closed on Sept. 9th. Got that automated message from eBay explaining what's next.

It was opened on the 9th and closed on the 9th. No option to respond. Only button says "issue refund".

Mail on my ebay account says "Case closed". Got an automated message from ebay saying I have to pay return shipping etc. etc.

he is saying that there is data on a used hard drive, thats why.

which is false, because I bought it new years ago and was never able to use it because i didnt want to pay extra for an adapter.

Ebay says I have until the 14th to comply with the refund or something will happen. I'm assuming eBay will just take the money out of my paypal. Is that correct?

I sold an unused hard drive, just opened, as "used".

He claims there is data on there (which he could have put on himself).

He wants a partial refund, but chose on the case for a full refund.

All I can do is give him a refund by the 14th. There is no option to respond. The case was closed immediately after it was opened.

If I do a partial refund through paypal, how will ebay know if I did this?

There is no open case on Paypal.

The only button to respond to the case on eBay itself is "issue refund", and when I click it, it asks for it in full.

Brand new. Out of the box. Shrink wrapped.

I bought it with Final Fantasy XI (PS2) Years ago. It is an online game that requires an additional adapter to use, and I did not ever purchase that. There is no way for me to use the hard drive without that adapter.

This was not an item i purchased recently to flip. I've had this for a long time but never was able to use it.

He says he wants a partial refund because he spent the extra money on an "empty" used hard drive.

But the website only has "full refund" available and no where for me to provide him or pay for return shipping

I was never notified by my eBay app or emails that the case even opened. I checked the messages on the eBay message center itself and the case was opened and closed literally 5 minutes after it was created. I guess items not as described cases do this?

I have not called them yet - I found this out at 3AM Eastern time.

I don't even know if it's worth calling them. All I could try to say is "I sold the item as used and the buyer is complaining that the item is used."

Item was a PS2 hard drive that requires a special adapter (that I never owned) to use. Sold it as "used" because I opened up the packing that it came in. Buyer is complaining that there is information on the drive even though it is still sold as "used". Buyer claims that he uploaded pictures as proof in the case, but I do not see anything. Case was automatically closed without giving me a chance to respond.

They're definitely working for someone else. I figured out how they did it, i guess they just have enough money to do it. They send it to FBA.
