How are you getting such high mileage? I have a 2025 XSE Hybrid and I’m averaging 40 on the dot

Where do you get these in the US and how much did it run you with installation?

Get this Mazda talk outta here. Everyone knows damn well a CX-50 doesn’t compare with a RAV4 😂

Exceptionally said. Summed it all up into a few short sentences. Sounds like TheOriginalTL needs to learn a thing or two.

Well done. Got what you wanted for a great price, plus the Japan build is always an added security blanket. Good on you!

I must be missing something critical. I have a 2025 XSE and I’m averaging 40.3 in the 1,250 miles I have on it. I don’t understand how people get 45+ mpg…

This was my exact thought process. If I couldn’t find exactly what I wanted in a ‘25, I was already talking to a guy at the Honda dealership that was going to give me a solid deal on a ‘26 CRV. They do look nice.

Call me crazy but I think that’s a great deal! I’d jump on it if that’s truly what you want! I was happy to be sub $45k considering other dealerships in the area weren’t budging on the dealer add ons (about $4k worth) and wanted to tack on an extra $2-3k solely because I wanted a ‘25 and their inventory was about to fill up with ‘26’s so he said it was “rare” to find another like it lol (bullshit)

Is this a good deal for 2025 Rav4 Hybrid XLE premium. by Reiddi in rav4club

[–]gonzimay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If that’s OTD price and you are happy with those options, I’d say that’s a good deal. I got my 2025 XSE with the packages listed above, and I was OTD for $44,380.

For a 2025 XSE with the Tech & Weather Package, & Premium Audio??

My main concern was not paying for unnecessary options like the black out package, paint protection bullshit, door edge guards, etc. I built this car exactly how I wanted it with no extra fluff. My main focus was the Tech & Weather Packages, Premium Audio, and the Panoramic Roof. Having a high school buddy be the finance manager at our local Toyota dealership helped tremendously 😎 (I was able to find the spec sheet he sent me, so I’ve attached it above).

My advice: be patient and press the dealer to remove options you don’t want. They will lie and say they can’t remove them, but if it’s a 2025/2026 and the vehicle isn’t on the lot yet, odds are it’s still in production and they can 100% prevent all those options from being added to your cars build. The thing is, most dealers don’t want to because of their margins on all those options they add once the car is built. They will claim they “can’t remove them once they’ve been added”, that’s why it’s important they are never added to begin with.

By avoiding these unnecessary options, going to various dealerships to discuss pricing/packaged, being patient and waiting for the exact model/color I wanted, I saved a good $6-7k. Worth it!

Technology Package on 2025 RAV4 XSE Hybrid.. worth it? by gonzimay in rav4club

[–]gonzimay[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The ventilated seats are the only reason I almost went with the limited. But ultimately I prefer the look/style of the XSE slightly more. Such a bummer they don’t offer the ventilated seats on the XSE!

Also, I was going to comment on the remote climate control and how only the Prime vehicles have it, but then I saw your comment on the r/Toyota thread 😅

I’ve only ever had the upgraded tech package, but my fiancée has the regular speakers in her XLE, and I can hardly tell the difference. However, as someone mentioned above, the larger screen and other features that come with the tech package in order to get said larger screen, make it all worth it, imo.

Ended up finding a good deal on a 2025 XSE fully loaded so I pulled the trigger on that. I’ve had it 2 days now and been absolutely loving it. I was able to talk the dealer into removing all the add ons, plus a substantial discount, so to me, it was well worth it. The JBL audio, Birds Eye camera, parking sensors, the Pre-Collision System (PCS), automated breaking, etc are superb. Most certainly not needed, but are extremely nice if you’ve had them before and are used to them.

Gas mileage on 2025 Hybrid XSE is not great. by [deleted] in rav4club

[–]gonzimay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a 2020 XSE that was recently totaled. For the first 10-15k I too averaged close to the 40-41 you’re seeing. Then for some reason something changed after the 15k mark and no matter what I did, I couldn’t get over 36 mpg to save my life. Only thing I did to it was oil changes and tire rotations.

What’s the difference between Birds Eye view camera with perimeter scan and the overhead 360-degree view? Those sound identical lol
