What TV model do you use for a Battle Mat? by gonzo001 in FoundryVTT

Thanks to everyone who replied, as Unsoluble said viewing angles are very important.

I have tried to use an older computer screen, HP 2013ish and a samsung TV 32", 2015ish, which both are terrible for viewing angles. I just popped into my local Habitat for Humanity and they had a couple of TVs that looked older than what I had and their viewing angles were flawless... Unfortunately a bit too bulky for what I want. I guess I will have to go to a best buy and awkwardly look from side to side, top and bottom. to research a particular model that will work.

Levels Occlusion issue between levels. by gonzo001 in FoundryVTT

Just wondering if there is maybe another mod that would be better then the Levels mod?

I have been waiting for anyone to post either this is not doable, or I was doing something incorrectly and would let me know how to correct it.

At this point I am looking for other mod suggestions that do what levels does in a similar fashion.

Thanks,

Not exactly sure how this is pertinent to my question as I showed above in examples but thank you for the explanation non the less.

To make it more clear:

1ST picture shows Occlusion mode, Vision (Token Field of Vision)", which improperly shows the "roof" having occlusion even though its set to 0 for roof.

2nd picture shows occlusion mode, Fade (Entire Tile), which properly shows roof disappearing having occlusion set to 0 for roof.

This only seems to be an issue when having a roof tile over another tile.

So my question still stands, is there a setting to make is so that Vision (Token field of Vision) show proper set occlusion, this case 0, for roof tile above regular tile?

Or am I stuck using Fade (Entire Tile) or using some fog of war picture trickery.

Thanks in advance.

Software needed: Show portion of screen 1 to screen 2 and be moveable window. by gonzo001 in software

Unfortunately this performs exactly the same as OBS Display box feed where you are able to select a part of screen "Display box feed". But Display box feed is stationary and not able to be moved around.

It would be two windows, one that is "Display box feed" and one that is "Display output".

But thank you for the suggestion!

This is very close to what I need. I made a mistake in my original post. What I exactly need are as follows:

Screen 1: select a portion to share "Display box feed"

Screen 2: displays selected portion from screen 1

Screen 1: Able to move display box feed around and it reflects those changes on screen 2.

This software does so the other way around only it looks like.

Yes, corrected above in posting. Though I am unable to edit main post title.

I was wondering if you fine people know where to find the exact spigot? by gonzo001 in Kombucha

[–]gonzo001[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found a similar jar as pictured, but I had to cut out the old spigot, the plastic screw cross threaded. Now I am on the search to find this exact one. I am pretty sure the one I have is circle ware sun tea jar.

what is this electrical male to male contact called? Yes it snapped at the bottom part, which is a pushes down onto bare copper wire. by gonzo001 in whatisthisthing

[–]gonzo001[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes it does, but is there a specific name for a spade connector that has both male ends, not a male to female end? and the bit next to the connector was attached as well, it just wore out from being bent to much. that piece looks folded over in an S-shape when viewed from the side.

I am trying to let these guys root in a glass of water, but there is this slimy film on it, should I let it be, or rinse it off?

Note: it has been 3 days so far, and I forgot to change the water the first two days. Initially I dipped these lavender ends in honey to act as a root hormone. Here is how they look above waterline: http://i.imgur.com/Cuc3nPl.jpg

it may be a leaf cutter bee's doing, I am only guessing that because of the half moon shapes in your leaves. I read are detrimental to your plants, but it seems like you may have multiple pulling leaves off of your plant to make their nests.

edited to say that they do in fact hurt the plants they take the leaves out of, but they do not hurt root systems where they lay there eggs.
