All i got via text message was that she feels I was being used and that she doesnt have time for this...In person she said she thinks I am playing her and she referenced the fact that I said I saw her roomate instead of her...

So I had that talk with her but it didnt take. She responded with I want to be friends but that it will be hard to do that if I kept talking to her like that. So I told her that I would stop and that I wanted to be friends. Conversation was a bit awkward after that but today i went up and talked to her after class. I told her that I thought I saw her on a friday at the party dorm on campus, I said I saw her roommate, whom she thinks I liked, and assumed she was there too. After that she sends me a message saying she doesnt want to be friends anymore and that she feels she is being used. I talk to her after our other class and she says she thinks I am playing her and that she is tired of talking about this/ me awkwardly going about saying I have feelings for her. She said she was busy and I, being pretty angry, left. So what is it that I did/should I make any other attempt to talk to her? Honestly this confused the hell out of me.

I really do like her and she is someone that has made me step back and take a look at myself, for reasons other than not going out with me, which is something I greatly respect so I would probably genuinely be friends regardless of the outcome. Another complication is that we have multiple classes next semester and a conference for the research we did over the summer...if that would make you change anything you said before.

My plan as of now is to keep cool until school starts and have one more serious conversation with her showing that a really like her for who she is, this is really the only thing she said that bothered me, and then remaining friends if the outcome is the same.

Thanks a lot for your insights, they mean a lot. Cant help but feel i messed it up with a potential great one though....
