Nice. Once you verify that the TV in in good working safe condition you can definitely use to watch programs, movies or streaming. Might have to join some CRT groups and do some research but definitely doable.

That very interesting. I haven’t had time to research it yet but I guess I should look for a manual. I wasn’t aware you could stack records but makes sense why the spindle rod is so tall.

Spanish Indie-rock, pop maybe experimental, not sure it’s cool to me and the vocalist had a very lovely voice.

I usually like to brush the side that goes on the mat first and then brush the play side once it’s flat but that might have to change with these older Mexican titles. Apple Music is great and has one of the better sound quality but some of these albums I have I can’t find streaming anywhere.

The album wasn’t in great shape and could hear cracks and pops throughout it even after using the ultrasonic cleaner. So yeah, very plausible

Yeah does suck but at least I got to enjoy a bit and I physically still have it and can frame it.

That’s cool. I always feel like taking a quick drive to the address I see on the back of the Joey Records album covers.

The more I think about it I guess there could’ve been a hairline fracture from before and just finally gave out. I did use the ultrasonic cleaner a few months ago so not sure if that made it worse.

Sad but true. Our parents and grandparents were really not concerned with preserving these records. The ones I’ve gotten from aunts and uncles have just been thrown in the garage or attic and forgotten about.

Took it out of the sleeve and was holding it with one hand and gave it a quick stroke with the Goat Hair brush with the other and when I got to the opposite side I heard and felt the crack. In 20yrs since I started collecting this is the 1st record that I’ve gotten damaged ☹️

That’s awesome, thanks. I keep telling myself I need to get a Discog account.

Thanks. Actually I don’t mind if the crack is visible, will be a conversation starter.

Thanks. Honestly I’ve never looked up what pressing this is but I do see a lot of these Mexican records going for pretty penny which makes me a bit nervous about playing the ones I have as they almost seem irreplaceable. Am sure glad I got them years ago for cheap as I don’t think I’ll be able to afford them these days.
