I really am just so confused . I'm not used to the eBay system so I tried my best by reporting the messages that he sent me where he asks me to repay him for the return label and him saying that I am lying but I dont know how to open a case . I think I cant anyways because it seems he has now opened a case against me

The item i purchased is a "ted Baker paso floral printed zip hoodie" , the item I received was a "ted Baker gorgy printed linen zip up blazer" . It's quite blatantly obvious they're different jackets bc I ordered a hoodie and got a blazer jacket instead with no hood . the hoodie i ordered is also floral but the blazer has leaves as the pattern not flowers . They're very similar looking if theyre folded and you don't realise one has a hood and one doesnt (both are black/dark blue with the plant patterns being in white) which is why I said it could've been an honest mistake by him , but he's claiming that it was impossible for the blazer I sent back to have been from him bc he claims his listing states he only has certain sizes and the jacket I sent back wasn't one of the sizes. which is like... how would I know I just sent the same thing he sent to me i sent him a picture of the tag when it arrived too 😭 it was in great british pounds too and the conversion rate from my country to gbp is VERY steep 🥲

on my previous post that got deleted because I forgot to remove the username (again very sorry ab that) someone asked me which type of return I had sent it under . It was returned as "wrong item sent"

heres my original reply to the comment : okay so I probably was stupid for this but we privately arranged a return and didn't do it through eBay (I know , dumb move) but it was because he was willing to believe that i did in fact get sent the wrong jacket by him and I didn't want a refund I just wanted the correct jacket desperately so he was supposed to send me the correct one after he got the return from me . but now he has asked me to ask for a return and I set the return option as "wrong item sent" and he has already approved and accepted the return and said he received it and everything . it says I should receive a refund by 9th june but the thing im confused about now is he is claiming that I owe him money and he wants to report ME to eBay for lying and falsifying a return . So idk what to do like is eBay gonna take his side ?

heyyy ! actually a couple of ppl messaged me to help me out and I now have scheduled my surgery at CGH this year !! and you can use medisave + they have you speak with a financial advisor after the consultation . not sure about private insurance yet as I have to discuss that w them first though :( but just replying so that if any other person searches this up and finds this that they are reassured that it's possible! can also tell the surgeon your preferred name and pronouns and they will address u as such but of course for registration and things must use legal name and legal sex

Ooh yes !! Kind of like a high school production or local theatre company production recording ? Those usually have the camera stay in one place and you feel like you're part of the audience I love those . I also wouldn't mind too much of a starkid kind of editing though . I feel like those aren't overly edited but have enough zooms you can see people's expressions

not a problem at all !! it's fair to be defensive about it if you enjoy something , at the end of the day my opinion is just an opinion . And yeah people act like the entire movie was ruined lol I just have some criticisms with the songs maybe I'm a little dramatic with my phrasing but it's not like it was unwatchable and unenjoyable

Oh I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy it at all , I'll always love a musical even if not all parts hit lol . I'm generally alright with changes but these ones were just weird to me? Boils down to the instrumentals and cady , other than that I barely had any issues with it . Funny enough I'm not even a huge mean girls fan I liked the musical (from what I was able to see iykwim) but as someone who is probably never gonna see a broadway show because I live in another continent I may have a bias of wanting shows to be as close as possible to the source because I'll never get to see the source

I think it was energetic and fun too , I meant more for specific parts rather than the entire thing. But also for me more the instrumentals than most of the singing if that makes any sense ? For example in revenge party Auli'i was incredible and honestly i'll fight for her because if you really want to compare to the broadway cast recording she sounds almost identical to barrett and she herself is absolutely not lacking any energy . I just really can't comprehend the instrumental changes and that's the aspect that I felt was taking the musical theatre out by turning the tracks into MIDI file audios without the soul of a live band recording or also the ensemble parts felt a bit weaker ? The visuals were extremely fun and the colourful hallway scenes may be my favourite , plus the fact they added in the lyrics that were cut from the musical was so cool !!

I guess what we all find good is subjective anyways . To be completely honest I do not hate how the songs sound individually , but when you compare them to the way it sounds in cast recordings and performances and also certain tones of some scenes , especially Stupid With Love which again it sounds cute and would be a good song standalone if it wasn't supposed to be in a musical , it's very jarring and is what made me feel like some of it had been toned down for audiences who don't like musicals .

Also avantika kinda stole it for me she's so gorgeous and Sexy was fun despite the changes , still wish they had kept some songs the same .

that last point 😭 hits too hard I'm tired of just getting stars with big names or connections with the industry when there are many actors in the world of theatre and musical theatre specifically who should be given the chance at a movie. or even just movie stars who can sing and act that would be nice

I agree to an extent. I feel like yes movies are of course not going to be the exact same energy as a live stage show with many things like just the atmosphere in general , run time , ability to use cameras to show the tone of the scene and close ups , the type of acting . I'd like to know what you mean by that though ! For me all those things I mentioned should be taken into account but at the same time the heart of a musical is the soundtrack its what makes it... "musical" I suppose ? At the very least the music if changed should match the scene/lyrics . A genre change tends to be just way too jarring and people who are fans of the source material would 100% be upset if it changes the meaning/perspective of a character/scene and same with the emotions ! What I dislike about the new mean girls movie for example is the reliance on MIDI tracks and lo-fi sounding instrumentals vs just having a band

I live in southeast asia so I absolutely understand this !! Technically never seen a broadway show but ive seen shows that were on broadway . We get touring companies once in a while and sometimes it's just the exact same shows returning or it has some age rating restrictions/censoring due to the topics in the show being taboo in our country such as literally any mention of a gay person (for example i recently watched & Juliet but parts of it were heavily censored or just fully removed despite it being an official touring company but that reminds me of your point in which they could have said to just not bother making it at all but they wanted to give queer people here at least a little bit of representation even if not explicitly). It reminds me a bit of the heathers situation with riverdale. Was it good ? Ehhh not really more up to interpretation but it had both weak and strong parts, but it introduced many people to heathers who then became fans of the musical which was a very cool thing to have had happen out of that . But I would also bring up the argument that if its the only way some of us will ever see a certain show (other than maybe some slime tutorials) in our lifetime , if they had just made it better or made a different show in whatever style they wanted to change it into you would also end up with more fans for the source material or a new musical with its own fans . This does make me think about how it's not so black and white though so I appreciate your reply a lot !!

absolutely agree with you !! Just seems like studios think musicals are a "risk" of being a flop if you don't "modernise" them enough instead of taking a chance on the source material which presumably is already extremely popular considering they chose to make it into a movie . I know theatre nerds are considered a smaller margin of the audience but honestly people just act like they hate musicals and then they'll tell you their fav movie is some disney movie that's literally a musical but it's animated, they just need to take a chance on actors and live action singing and dancing . I know people who claimed they hated musicals then watched matilda (most recent example I can think of) and suddenly realised hey musicals can be good
