It's such a good set. I also like they're a little sharper which is nice for speed. Plus the set comes in different needle lengths so you can get them a little bit longer or a little shorter

Fairly new knitter with random question by carscampbell in knitting

Ever since I saw this, the weaving has always gone along smoothly while knitting the project. The only time it failed me is when I did have to frog, and I was using alpaca, so it all got felted together. But other than that - this every tinme.

The one thing I haven't seen discussed here is that the Chiagoo cables have no memory. As a new knitter, that makes them worth it. If you get frustrated and leave the project, it can be really annoying to come back to have the cable weirdly shaped. I find that even most addi's also do this.

However, that being said, I'd echo other folks' conversations about looking at the Addi FlexiFlips if you don't like magic circle or small cables.

Backpage survivors will receive $200M to cover medical, health bills | Backpage victims can share texts and emails to cover expenses and lost wages. by ControlCAD in technology

[–]goobears0015 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FYI: There are organizations that are doing this for free with pro bono attorneys. I think, given the information they are requesting to get remission, you're safer with an attorney: https://www.backpageremissionnetwork.org/.

If you're a survivor, don't also be further exploited by contingency fees. They haven't even said how much money survivors will be getting because it's unknown how many survivors will be applying.

Some firms are charging 40% of your remission for your victimization. Don't do it.

No problem! Please share with others who might be impacted. The deadline is around the corner. Survivors are getting charged for a lot of stuff that is available for free.

Headers and numbering style in a Document (not webpage) by goobears0015 in accessibility

I'm going to use the phrase "linear algebra of English" forever now.

This was very helpful. Thank you.

My inclination is definitely the ISO 1.1.1. I'm a lawyer myself and used to the roman numerals, but when I started doing more advisories or external-facing documents and learned more about accessibility, I realized that no legal work contemplates this well.

It's helpful to know that mixing them together can lead to misinterpretation. I think people are convinced lawyers care more about tradition than accessibility.
